    摘要: A lighting device includes one or more lighting assemblies, each having a light emitting diode (LED) emitting a light and a lens. Each lens has an impinging light surface refracting a first segment of the light to emerge from an exterior surface of the lens and a second segment of the light intersecting a side mirror whereat it is reflected to emerge from the lens. The lens collecting a large portion of the light emitted by the LED projects an evenly illuminating elongated light beam and appears evenly illuminating when viewed from an exterior location.

    摘要: A power factor correction circuit includes an inductor L1, a diode D1, a switch Q3 and a controller 24. An input voltage Vin is applied to the inductor L1 which is cyclically discharged through the diode D1 by the operation of the switch Q3. The switch Q3 is controlled by the controller 24 which varies the on period of the switch Q3, during which the inductor is charged, for adjusting an output voltage Vbus towards a target value Vbus_target. The method includes obtaining an indication of the inductor L1 reaching a discharged state in response to the switch being in an off state. The controller 24 monitors at least one of the switch on period Ton and the switch off period Toff to identify when the input voltage Vin is an alternating voltage AC input, and when it is likely to be a non-alternating voltage DC input. When a non alternating voltage is detected, steps may be taken to reduce interference.

The circuit includes one or more components for monitoring circuit parameters, calculating the illuminating resistance of the LED and for changing the effective power applied to the LED light source in response to a relationship between the illuminating resistance and the targeted illuminating resistance. The change in effective power made by the circuit is for returning the illuminating resistance to a predetermined relationship with the targeted illuminating resistance.

    摘要: The present invention is a portable lighting system comprised of a light head with visible white light and infrared light sources mounted on the center post of a quadpod. The quadpod has four adjustable, telescoping legs which are affixed to the center post using a collar mechanism. The collar mechanism allows the quadpod legs to be pivoted to a parallel position for storage. A power unit, which includes a battery, power supply and remote control receiver encased within a weather resistant housing, is located near the opposite end of the center post. A power cable connects the light head and the power unit. The portable lighting system is capable of being operating wirelessly using a handheld remote. The portable lighting system may be constructed from fiberglass, aluminum, a composite material or any other material or combination of materials.

    摘要: A multi-color lighting device 30 capable of emitting light of at least two colors. A group 9 of LED lamps comprising a variety of colors each color having a plurality of LED lamps disposed in an equiangular array. The color of the emitted light selected by a circuit having a schematic 16 and a switch 6, which selectively energizes lamps of the desired color. Each color of emitted light is refracted by a light converging lens 1 which surrounds group 9 of LED lamps and concentrates the light emitted by the energized lamps to intensify the light emitted by the lighting device toward an elongated output beam having a specification vertical beam width smaller than a specification azimuth. Switch 6 selectively energizes each plurality of lamps representing each color within the group to an established and usually substantially fixed power level. The established power level for each color is established as adequate when light emitted from the lighting device of that color meets a required photometric specification.
