Abstract: An arc path-forming part and a DC relay comprising same are disclosed. The arc path-forming part according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a Halbach array and a magnet part that form a magnetic field in a space formed therein. The magnetic field formed by the Halbach array is stronger in the direction toward the space. The magnetic field formed by the Halbach array and the magnet part forms an electromagnetic force together with the current applied to each fixed contactor. Here, the electromagnetic force formed in the vicinity of each fixed contactor is formed in a direction away from the center of the space or in a direction away from each fixed contactor. Accordingly, a generated arc can be quickly extinguished and discharged by being induced by the electromagnetic force.

Abstract: An arc extinguishing unit and an air circuit breaker comprising same are disclosed. The arc extinguishing unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises an arc extinguishing magnet located above a grid. The arc extinguishing magnet forms a magnetic field in the arc extinguishing part and in a fixed contact and a movable contact that are located adjacent to the arc extinguishing part. An arc generated as the fixed contact and the movable contact are separated from each other receives an electromagnetic force in the formed magnetic field. The electromagnetic force passes through the grid and is formed in a direction facing the exterior of the arc extinguishing part. Thus, the generated arc may be quickly extinguished and moved.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for diagnosing a failure of an inverter initial charging circuit. The device for diagnosing a failure of an initial charging circuit according to the present invention is advantageous as follows: it is possible to detect whether a relay of the initial charging circuit is malfunctioning or not by using a photocoupler connected in parallel with an initial charging resistor of the initial charging circuit, on the basis that, if a current flows through the initial charging resistor in a relay-on state, the photocoupler is turned on; and it is possible to prevent component failure or burnout from occurring due to a high current flowing through the initial charging resistor in the case of a relay failure.
