Abstract:
A releasable tassel for an architectural opening covering wherein the tassel is configured to receive and secure the distal end of at least one movement cord used for raising a lowermost member of the architectural opening covering and the tassel is further configured to releasably attach to the lowermost member.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a game, including a first module having a housing, a processor, a display operably coupled to the processor and an electrical contact positioned such that access is available to the electrical contact of the first module through the first module housing, and a second module having a housing, a processor, a display operably coupled to the processor and an electrical contact positioned such that access is available to the electrical contact of the second module through the second module housing, the electrical contact of the second module configured to contact the electrical contact of the first module, allowing the processor of the first module to communicate with the processor of the second module. Wherein when the processor of the second module is in communication with the processor of the first module, the first module display and the second module display are configured to each display a portion of a the game, each such portion configured to not overlap each other such portion.
Abstract:
A system for detecting and remediating a discharge of fuel from a fuel source facility is disclosed. The system can comprise a contamination detection subsystem configured to detect a discharge of fuel from the fuel source facility and a remediation subsystem configured to remediate contamination due to the discharge of fuel. A controller can automatically activate the remediation subsystem upon detection of a discharge by the contamination detection subsystem. The controller can automatically send a notification that a contamination has been detected and the remediation system has been activated. Alternatively or in addition, the controller can automatically send a notification that a contamination has been detected and the remediation system has been activated.
Abstract:
An interchangeable transducer system for electrical musical instruments, wherein the system embodies one or more transducer cavities formed into the musical instrument, wherein self-contained transducers can slide into and out of each transducer cavity. Thereby the same instrument can generate vastly different tonal qualities depending on the type of self-contained transducers the user interchanges within each transducer cavity.
Abstract:
The power barn system provides a way to eliminate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from livestock. The power barn system seals and traps the methane gas that is emitted from the livestock and converts the methane into electric power and carbon dioxide to enhance plant growth. The power barn system uses PV solar arrays and plastic sheeting to make sealed, airtight structures. The carbon dioxide is provided to one or more sealed greenhouse areas. The plants use the carbon dioxide and release oxygen, thereby completely eliminating greenhouse gas emissions from livestock. The power plant uses the methane at peak times at night while solar panels supply power during the day producing zero emission and 24/7 electricity at better than market rates.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for onboard, real-time pickup blending for electric guitars/basses may utilize every possible tonal combination that double coil pickups can offer. The industry standard pickup toggle switch may be removed from electric guitar/bass instruments. Instead of a user being limited to only using one pickup at a time to be selected, the user may mix in any combination of the pickups (top, bottom, or both) at any time. Accordingly, multiple pickups can be on at the same time and/or the user may blend in (or out) any percentage of any of the pickups that the user wishes to create a large combination of tones.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a computerized system for and method of providing precision healthcare services such as consultation, education, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or treatment at a distance via encrypted real-time image and audio presence where the healthcare professional's assessment, diagnosis, and intervention activities are informed by patient feedback, smart objects, and artificial intelligence and patient outcomes are optimized through recursive system feedback. The present invention is unlimited with regard to the type of patient entity or healthcare professional entity.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for assessing how a particular patient's responses may vary from those that are typically given on an item or instrument that relies on high granularity, dichotomous, responses. This method allows for the quantifiable description of patterns of possible overreporting, underreporting, “yeasaying,” “naysaying,” favoring one half of a representative continuum in a manner unrelated to item content, attempting to portray oneself in an overly favorable light, or attempting to portray oneself in an overly negative light. This method allows for validity checks without recourse to generating additional, specific, validity check items possibly modifying the times required to construct and train various machine learning (ML) systems including artificial neural networks (ANNs).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a recombinant gram-negative bacterial cell comprising an expression vector comprising a recombinant polynucleotide encoding DsbC and one or more polynucleotides encoding an antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof specifically binding to CD154.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a recombinant gram-negative bacterial cell, characterized in that the cell comprises a recombinant polynucleotide encoding DsbC and has reduced Tsp protein activity compared to a wild-type cell.
