    摘要: A software implemented control mechanism is used in a test system for assigning unique pre-established electronic addresses which are to be written into the memory elements of printed circuit boards during the manufacture thereof. Each PCB is previously encoded with a scannable board serial number label, and the test system includes a processing unit and a memory configured for storing test software for testing PCBs. The control mechanism is incorporated into the test software which when installed into the test system configures the system's memory for assigning electronic addresses. The control mechanism includes first and second sets of tables containing entries which define the ranges of valid serial numbers and preallocated electronic addresses. A control element within the control mechanism invokes a number of offset computation subroutines which generates an offset value derived from the serial number read from the PCB being processed defining the relative position of the serial number as determined by entry values contained in the first set of tables. The control element provides the received offset value to a number of effective address subroutines which it invokes to select a valid unique electronic address value contained in the ranges of pre-established electronic addresses defined by the entry values contained in the second set of tables.

A modification of the invention includes a window box structure mounted to a connecting web of the first and second plates, with the window box including a rear wall mounting a plurality of sockets in a parallel relationship relative to the second plate utilizing threaded extender rods arranged for projection and in engagement with a rearwardly oriented vertical wall surface to align the window sill box relative to the associated window. A further modification of the invention includes an irrigation conduit structure positioned in an adjustable relationship overlying the window box for the continuous directing of irrigation fluid into the window box structure.

Applicable to a greater variety of electronic products than other test methods, and not appreciably constraining functional design, this approach inherently avoids obstacles which prevent other techniques from fulfilling their objectives. This method is applicable to analog or digital electronic components and circuits and results in the ability to largely combine component level and board level test development efforts, a reduction in the need for exhaustive component testing prior to board assembly, the applicability of a single tester configuration to a number of product types, the ability to substitute a verified component for a suspect one without removal, and the ability to detect marginally operative components which have not yet affected board functionality. This method allows the production and stocking of a single set of compatible electronic components to be used in place of existing electronic components as well as allowing existing electronic designs to be converted to this test method by substituting compatible electronic components for all existing electronic components.

Besides noteworthy improvement in ESCR, the tensile strength (including tensile yield--i.e., "T.sub.y " and tensile rupture--i.e., "T.sub.r "), elongation (i.e., "% Elong.") and practical toughness (as measured by Gardner Impact Strength values) are amongst the significant physical properties thus ameliorated in the styrene polymer-thermoplastic elastomer polyblends.

    摘要: A rectangular air inlet control plate is pivotably mounted in the air intake passage of a forced air furnace to control the air intake volume and, thereby, insure optimal combustion of the fuel in the furnace. The plate is adjustably counter-balanced to a closed position and is further adjusted to allow the optimum volume of air intake during operation of the forced air furnace. The rectangular shape of the plate provides for fast opening and closing of the air intake during startup and shutdown transients, since the actuation angle of the plate is reduced in proportion to its length. The plate is mounted in a funnel-shaped air intake structure to reduce the noise and allow a maximum volume of air to enter the intake. A windscreen is mounted on the funnel-shaped air intake in order to act as a turbulence breaker for the incoming air, and also to prevent ingestion of large debris into the air intake.

The machine includes a processing station arranged to present each envelope in an opened condition to an operator in one-by-one relation to facilitate the removal of contents from or the insertion of materials into the envelopes by the operator. The machine includes a supply hopper for retaining a quantity of envelopes to be processed, an envelope processing station, means for removing envelopes from the supply hopper and for transmitting the removed envelopes to the envelope processing station, and envelope opening means at the processing station including a pair of reciprocating envelope gripping means arranged to grip and separate opposite panels of an envelope to facilitate the removal of the contents therefrom. The envelope gripping means include bending means for bending the envelope panels inwardly as the envelope panels are separated for displacing the envelope contents from the envelope panels towards the center of the opened envelope. As a result, the envelope contents are disposed within the opened envelopes in a position which enables convenient grasping of the contents by an operator.
