    Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to perform low latency communication using historical beam information. The wireless device may establish a radio resource control connection, and may subsequently release the resource control connection. The wireless device may store antenna element and beam information for the resource control connection. The wireless device may determine whether to use the stored antenna element and beam information when establishing another radio resource control connection. If the wireless device determines to do so, the wireless device may use the stored antenna element and beam information when establishing that radio resource control connection.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to improve candidate search and measurement in non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) 5G new radio (NR) multi-radio access technology (RAT) environments. For Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) NR-dual connectivity (EN-DC), a user equipment (UE) skips 5G band measurements for an initial search or an out-of-service (OOS) search. For SA dual connectivity, the UE avoids 5G remaining band (RBS) scans and limits 5G deviated band search (DBS) scans to bands configured for the carrier.

    Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for a user equipment (UE) to perform public land mobile network (PLMN) selection with a non-terrestrial network (NTN) dedicated to an international area. The UE receives a downlink message from the NTN, where the downlink message includes a public land mobile network (PLMN) identifier of a first PLMN of the NTN including an information element (IE). The IE indicates that the NTN is dedicated to an international area. Responsive to receiving the downlink message, the UE determines a current location of the UE and determines whether the current location is in the international area. The UE provides an international area notification to an access and mobility management function (AMF) servicing the UE to forward to a home PLMN (HPLMN) of the UE indicating whether the current location is in the international area.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive a list of Public Land Mobile Networks (PLMNs) that support a given network slice in a given country, different from a home country of a home PLMN of the UE. When roaming in the given country, UE may access a PLMN of the list if the given network slice is desired. The list may be provided by the home PLMN: while the UE is in the home country; or via a visited PLMN while the UE is in the given country. The list may be received in response to a UE-initiated request, or pushed to the UE by the home PLMN. A validity timer period received with the list may indicate a duration of validity of the list. In an alternative scenario, the UE may receive the list from an entitlement server, e.g., one belonging to a visited PLMN.
