摘要： The present invention is directed to two-phase sunscreen compositions containing (1) a water phase including an alcohol having five or fewer carbons and a polyol; and (2) an oil phase including at least one sunscreen active, a first emollient, and a second emollient, the first emollient having a first polarity, the second emollient having a second polarity, the first polarity differing from the second polarity. The present invention is also directed to a two-phase sunscreen product formed from the two-phase sunscreen composition and a method of protecting a keratinous substrate from UV radiation by applying onto a surface of the keratinous substrate the two-phase sunscreen product.

摘要： Methods and systems are provided for detecting hydrocarbon ingestion into an engine based on the simultaneous monitoring of cylinder imbalance and an elevated exhaust exotherm. Crankshaft acceleration data is monitored during steady-state and transient engine conditions while exhaust temperatures are estimated during non-regeneration conditions. Engine speed and load is limited to reduce further hydrocarbon ingestion.

摘要： A fuel cooling system for a diesel internal combustion engine system having a set of engine cylinders, a fuel storage tank, and a common rail fuel injection system comprises of a fuel distribution circuit for carrying fuel from the fuel storage tank to the engine cylinders; a fuel recycling circuit for recycling un-injected fuel; a temperature sensor for sensing fuel temperature; a fuel to coolant heat exchange system for cooling the fuel wherein the fuel to coolant heat exchange system comprises a coolant reservoir, an electric coolant pump, and a heat exchange manifold; a mechanism for controlling the electric coolant pump operation; an air to coolant heat exchange system coupled to the fuel to coolant heat exchange system for cooling the coolant in the fuel to coolant heat exchange system wherein the air to coolant heat exchange system is exposed to vehicle ram air and includes a heat exchange manifold and a cooling fan; and a mechanism for controlling the cooling fan.
