摘要: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate suspended secondary cell group (SCG) state relaxed measurements. One example aspect is a user equipment (UE) device, comprising: a memory; an antenna; a transceiver connected to the antenna; and a processor configured to: while in a dual connectivity (DC) mode where the UE is connected to a master node (MN) associated with a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary node (SN) associated with a SCG comprising a primary secondary cell (PSCell), receive a signaling from a base station (BS) comprising an indication to enter a suspended state for the secondary cell group (SCG), in response to the signaling, enter the suspended state for the SCG, while in the suspended state for the SCG, perform relaxed measurements on the PSCell; and send, to the BS, a measurement report comprising a one or more measurement results from the relaxed measurements.

A network may provide information to improve coordination and/or mitigate collisions. A network may adjust paging schedules and/or provision of alert messages to improve coordination.

One example embodiment comprises a UE device comprising a processor configured to perform operations comprising: transmitting a UE Assistance Information message comprising a measurement request; receiving a first RRCReconfiguration message comprising a measConfig information element (IE); performing one or more measurements on each of on one or more frequencies based at least on the RRC measConfig IE, wherein the one or more frequencies comprise at least one non-serving frequency associated with a neighboring cell; transmitting a MeasurementReport message that indicates the one or more measurements for at least one of the one or more frequencies; and receiving a second RRCReconfiguration message that configures the UE with the at least one of the one or more frequencies.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for network assisted side-link resource configuration for unicast and/or multi-cast/groupcast communications in V2X networks. A UE may, after establishing an RRC connection with a base station, transmit, to the base station, V2X connection information. The V2X connection information may include a V2X identifier associated with the UE and a V2X identifier associated with a target UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a side-link configuration for data transmission with the target UE. The side-link configuration may include a resource allocation defined in time and frequency (e.g., a transmit/receive pool). The UE may communicate with the target UE using the resource allocation included in the side-link configuration.

A UE may determine whether or not to solicit feedback (e.g., HARQ ACK/NACK) for one or more groupcast transmissions. The determination may be based on factors such as a remaining time to perform the transmission and the amount of time needed to perform the transmission with and without allowing time to receive and process feedback.
