Abstract:
An ice-making assembly for a refrigerator, which can effectively separate ice from a tray and a power transmission assembly for transmitting power to the tray are provided. The power transmission assembly includes a body unit defining an exterior of the ice-making assembly and a plurality of gear teeth protruding from an outer circumference of the body unit. Each of the gear teeth includes a first end portion protruding from the body unit by a predetermined distance and a second end portion further protruding from the body unit than the first end portion. According to the embodiments, even when the water is infiltrated into the power transmission assembly and frozen, the frozen ice can be removed in a direction by the above-described structures of the gears.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel that has a plurality of pixels and a plurality of sensors, and a touch sensing circuit that compares a sensing voltage detected by at least one sensor with a reference voltage that corresponds to the at least one sensor to determine the at least one sensor is touched. A level of the reference voltage is calibrated by taking operation characteristics of the sensors into consideration.

Abstract:
A gamma voltage generator for a liquid crystal display (LCD) capable of removing residual images by compensating a gamma voltage is presented. The gamma voltage generation apparatus adjusts the common voltage by the kickback voltage for the intermediate gray level, and tunes the gamma voltages other than the intermediate gray level gamma voltage. The adjustment of the gamma voltages other than the intermediate gray level gamma voltage is achieved in such a manner that the difference between the intermediate gray level kickback voltage and the kickback voltage at one of the gray levels other than the intermediate gray level is equal to half of the difference between the sum of the two inverted gamma voltages representing the intermediate gray level gamma voltages and the sum of the two inverted gamma voltages corresponding to the selected gray level.
Abstract:
A driving element and a wiring section electrically connected to the driving element are formed on a base substrate. A first ground pattern outputting a reference voltage of the driving element is formed on the base substrate. The base substrate includes a second ground pattern which is spaced apart from the first ground pattern. An external connection section is included on the base substrate, the external connection section being connected to the first and second ground patterns. A connecting cable contacts the external connection section to permit the first and second ground patterns to be connected to external circuitry.

Abstract:
A liquid crystal includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of data lines. The plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix format. The plurality of gate lines transmit a gate signal to the pixels. The plurality of data lines cross the gate lines and transmit data voltages respectively corresponding to the plurality of pixels a plural number of times. A voltage that is the same as that of the data lines neighboring the first and last data lines is applied to the first and last data lines among the plurality of data lines at least once.
