Abstract:
A massager has a motor with a motor shaft extending out from opposite ends of the motor, a pair of linkages each rotatably and eccentrically connected to opposite ends of the motor shaft, a bridge securely attached to the linkages with a pair of flexible arms and a pair of massage nodes securely mounted on the bridge. The bridge is pivotal relative to the housing so that the movement of the linkages caused by the rotation of the motor shaft drives the massage nodes on opposite sides of the bridge to pivotally reciprocate laterally, providing a rubbing massage effect.
Abstract:
A computer program product (400) and system executing/implementing the same provides a visual depiction of a part or assembly or scene (200) upon a display device. Upon execution, the program establishes for the system (1) a design flow system (404) comprising an object for each of one or more shapes, and (2) a modeling kernel (410). The modeling kernel comprises multiple concurrently available geometric engine types (432). The program enables performance of operations upon differing shapes in a same assembly, the differing shapes being generated by differing geometric engine types and the operations upon the assembly being performed by invoking the concurrently available geometric engine types in the modeling kernel. The the design flow system of the program also facilitates section of which of the multiple geometric engine types should attempt to perform an operation with respect to the one or more shapes. If a the first geometric engine type selected by the design flow system is unable to perform the requested operation successfully, a second geometric engine type is invoked for a further attempt or transfer of the operation performance. For this transfer, the modeling kernel comprises a cross-kernel communication (438) module through which plural drivers of the kernel communicate. The modeling kernel also comprises a translator (440) which, in turn, is invoked by the cross-kernel communication module in conjunction with the transfer of an operation request.
Abstract:
A computer program product and system executing/implementing the same provides a visual depiction of a three dimensional object upon a display device. The program converts feature-based data structure of a designated solid shape to a direct face data structure of the designated solid shape in a manner to keep a history of the three dimensional object consistent with a resulting boundary representation component of the three dimensional object. In converting the feature-based data structure of the designated solid shape to the direct face data structure, the program (1) determines what other solid shapes should be included in the D-Shape; (2) generates a boundary representation for the designated solid shape; (3) uses a topology-changeable local operation to generate a modified boundary representation for the designated solid shape; (4) modifies the history of the three dimensional object; (5) includes the modified boundary representation for the designated solid shape with the data structure for the solid shape; and (6) updates at least part of a history of the three dimensional object. Further, the program product can reconstruct a feature-based data structure from a direct face data structure (D-Shape). In one automatic mode of face selection, the reconstruction process grows a selected face until a recognizable boundary is encountered. The recognizable boundary can be any one of a blend, direct face solid shape, extruded shape, or turn shape.
Abstract:
A straw forming machine includes a feeding device, a pressing device, a sticking device, a conveyor device, and a cutting device. The paper material is stretched from the feeding device to the pressing device which curls the paper material. When the paper material is delivered to the sticking device, the two sides of the paper material are pressed by the sticking device to form the paper pipe, and the press roll of the sticking device rolls and sticks the two abutting portions of the paper pipe. Then, the paper pipe is delivered by the conveyor device to the cutting device which cuts the paper pipe to form drinking straws.
Abstract:
The embodiments described herein relate to methods, systems, and structures for cutting a part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface thereon. In some embodiments, the part includes substantially horizontal and vertical surfaces with edges and corners. In described embodiments, a diamond cutter is used to cut a surface of the part during a milling operation where the diamond cutter contacts the part a number of times with each rotation of the spindle of a milling machine. The diamond cutter has a cutting edge and a land. The cutting edge cuts the surface of the part and the land burnishes the surface of the part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface. Thus, the diamond cutter cuts and burnishes portions of the part, thereby eliminating a subsequent polishing step.
Abstract:
For the reported resveratrol analogs, the (E)-stilbene core structure is either maintained intact or only slightly modified. We use a different approach and introduced a novel heterocyclic benzothiazolium moiety into the (E)-stilbene core to form a series of novel resveratrol analogs for treating angiogenic- and/or inflammation-related disorders.
Abstract:
Methods for channel scanning are provided. An embodiment of a method for channel scanning comprises scan progress information stored when interrupting a channel scanning process. A carrier RF subsequent to the most recently processed carrier RF is locked onto with reference to the stored scan progress information when resuming the interrupted channel scanning process. Channel information of a program carried by the locked carrier RF is acquired. The acquired channel information of the program is stored in a channel table.
Abstract:
A linear-cavity all-fiber-based ultra short pulse laser system is provided. The all-fiber-based ultra short pulse laser system includes a pulse pump light source, a gain fiber, a first fiber signal pump combining unit, a broadband optical isolator, a fiber saturable absorber, an assistant light source, a second fiber signal pump combining unit, and a light coupling output. A broadband amplified spontaneous emission, emitted by the first fiber signal pump combining unit, which is connected to the pulse pump light source and the gain fiber, passes through the broadband optical isolator. The second fiber signal pump combining unit is connected to the assistant light source and the fiber saturable absorber. An ASE signal actively provides passive mode locking of the cavity, and the light coupling output partially outputs the laser. A dispersion fiber controls the temporal width.

The first fiber signal pump combining unit is respectively connected to the pulse pump light source and the gain fiber to emit broadband amplified spontaneous emission, then the broadband amplified spontaneous emission passes through the broadband optical isolator. The second fiber signal pump combining unit is respectively connected to the assistant light source and the fiber saturable absorber. An ASE signal actively provides passive mode locking of the cavity, and the light coupling output partially outputs the laser. A dispersion fiber controls the temporal width.
