摘要: A lightweight, four stroke engine includes a crankcase enclosure and at least one piston assembly disposed within the crankcase enclosure. The piston assembly cooperates with the crankcase enclosure to provide an internal pressure to the crankcase enclosure which varies between a positive and a negative pressure. An air intake assembly is operatively coupled to a first section of the engine and the crankcase enclosure, the air intake assembly including at least one air conduit configured to provide non-combustive air flow from the first section of the engine to the crankcase enclosure of the engine. At least one valve is disposed within the air intake system, the valve being configured to restrict air flow from the crankcase enclosure when positively pressurized and to allow airflow into the crankcase enclosure when negatively pressurized.

摘要: A method of organizing icons on a desktop into groups and displaying the icon groups in segments on the desktop. The present invention comprises a Configuration Program (CP), an Icon Grouping Program (IGP), and an Icon Organization Program (IOP). The CP allows a user to define at least one segment on the desktop. The user defines the segment location, the segment size, the types of icons associated with the segment, the icon organization within the segment, and whether the segment covers the desktop wallpaper. The IGP analyzes the icons and places the icons into the proper segments based on the type of application associated with the icon. The IOP organizes the icons within each segment using the icon organization specified by the user in the CP. The IOP also organizes new icons that are added to the desktop. The present invention may also be applied to a web portal.

摘要: The present invention provides a universal decontamination formulation and method for detoxifying chemical warfare agents (CWA's) and biological warfare agents (BWA's) without producing any toxic by-products, as well as, decontaminating surfaces that have come into contact with these agents. The formulation includes a sorbent material or gel, a peroxide source, a peroxide activator, and a compound containing a mixture of KHSO5, KHSO4 and K2SO4. The formulation is self-decontaminating and once dried can easily be wiped from the surface being decontaminated. A method for decontaminating a surface exposed to chemical or biological agents is also disclosed.

摘要: The systems and methods described create a mathematical representation of each of the media objects for which user ratings are known. The mathematical representations take into account the subjective rating value assigned by a user to the respective media object and the user that assigned the rating value. The media object with the mathematical representation closest to that of the seed media object is then selected as the most similar media object to the seed media object. In an embodiment, the mathematical representation is a vector representation in which each user is a different dimension and each user's rating value is the magnitude of the vector in that dimension. Similarity between two songs is determined by identifying the closest vectors to that of the seed song. Closeness may be determined by subtracting or by calculating the dot product of each of the vectors with that of the seed media object.

摘要: A cleaning appliance has a main body and a hose attached thereto, the hose being attached to the main body by means of a connector. The connector is movable between a first position in which the hose is stored on the main body and a second position in which the hose provides a dirty airflow to the main body for cleaning purposes. When the connector is in the second position, the hose extends away from the main body in a plane which passes through the centre of the main body. This improves the balance of the main body during use.

摘要: A method for treating secondary fiber to achieve wet strength while retaining repulpability is provided. In an embodiment, the method involves supplying a first line of secondary fiber which represents a total supply of secondary fiber. The method has a further step of removing a portion of the total supply of secondary fiber in the first line and transporting the portion into a second line. The second line is treated with a cationic resin treatment. A third line supplies virgin fiber. The third line and the first line are combined. Next, the treated secondary fiber in the second line is combined with the mixed contents of the first line and third line. Separation of the virgin fiber line from the secondary fiber line at initial stages of the process lowers cationic demand for the system, and reduces an amount of resin required to treat the system.
