摘要: The present invention provides a wireless communications terminal capable of preventing radio interferences from being caused by other wireless communications concurrent with a contactless communications. A wireless communications terminal (101) receives, in a contactless communications, a command from a reader/writer (105) via a second wireless communications section (209), and analyzes the received command. The wireless communications terminal (101) controls a wireless communications control section (210) to deactivate or temporarily deactivate the function of a first wireless communications section (208) depending on the analysis of the command. After the function of the first wireless communications section (208) is deactivated or temporarily deactivated, the wireless communications terminal (101) accesses a memory area of an IC card microcomputer system (300) as specified by the command to perform a contactless communications.

摘要: A servo control apparatus controls operation of a to-be-controlled object through execution of software based on control data and reference data. An operation-signal generating portion generates an operation signal having a frequency representing the operation of the to-be-controlled object. A clock-signal generating portion generates a clock signal having a frequency controlled in accordance with the control data. A counting portion measures a time corresponding to the period of the operation-pulse signal by counting pulses of the clock signal, and generates a count value. A controlling portion controls the operation of the to-be-controlled object through execution of software based on the count value and the reference data.

摘要: An optical disc apparatus includes: a defect detecting section 124 for detecting, based on a light detection signal and with respect to a preset detection reference level, a fingerprint or a bubble on the disc 102 as a defect to output a defect detection signal; and a waveform shaping section 126 to output a hold signal that holds, in response to the defect detection signal, a signal from a tracking control section 109 at a level just before the defect has occurred. The apparatus is initially operated not to hold the signal from the tracking control section 109 even if there is a defect. But once a tracking failure has occurred during a read operation, settings are changed to hold the signal from the tracking control section 109 against the defect while the read operation is retried.

摘要: To provide an optical recording medium and an eccentricity amount detecting device using the same that can detect an eccentricity amount representing a relative displacement amount in a radiation direction between a beam spot irradiated onto the optical recording medium and the optical recording medium. In the optical recording medium, a plurality (N) of servo areas (113) each including a first wobble mark (211) and a second wobble mark (212) and a plurality (N) of data areas for performing information recording and reproduction are arranged alternatively in a circumferential direction. Each of the servo areas is composed of a plurality of servo pattern areas (210a to 210c) arranged in the radial direction, which vary in a distance in the circumferential direction between the first wobble mark and the second wobble mark. The plurality of servo pattern areas include the same number of tracks, and the number is less than N/(2×π).

From a recording/reproduction processing section (24), a digest information management section (27) acquires information concerning a recording process and a reproduction process, and based on such information, generates predetermined program recording information and predetermined program reproduction history information. From a server (40) on a network (30), the digest information management section (27) acquires server digest information which is previously stored therein. The program recording information, the program reproduction history information, and the server digest information are recorded on the hard disk (25) and kept under management therein. From such information, the digest information management section (27) generates predetermined user digest information, and, in accordance with this user digest information, provides the user with information concerning a digest reproduction of the recorded program.
