    摘要: A color electrophotographic device includes, a color toner image producing device which produces a color toner image on a rotatable photo sensitive drum by forming four toner images thereon; an image transferring device which transfers the color toner image on the photo sensitive drum onto a recording medium; a fixing means which fixes the color toner image on the recording medium; a transferring device which transfers the recording medium; a recording medium selecting and feeding device which selects one of an ordinary paper and a transparent sheet to serve as the recording medium and feeds the selected one to the transferring device; and a control device which controls the operations of the devices referred to above and includes a first and a second control function which are rendered operative when the transparent sheet is selected as the recording medium, wherein the first control function causes the photo sensitive drum to perform one idle rotation before the image transferring device beings to transfer the color toner image carried on the photo sensitive drum onto the recording medium; and wherein the second control function causes the transferring device to reduce the transferring speed for the transparent sheet to a speed lower than that for the ordinary paper only during the operations of the image transferring device and the fixing means and the transferring speed reduction is accomplished after the last toner image has been formed on the photo sensitive drum and during the idle rotation thereof.

    摘要: Disclosed in a history information providing device for use in a printer, such as a laser beam printer, having a print producing section, operation watching sensors and a programmable control section for controlling the print producing section. The history information providing device includes a non-volatile memory for taking-out the latest failure information such as the number of times of paper jam and the number of times of toner supply, and the latest maintenance information such as the total number of pages of printed paper and the total number of pages of printed paper by paper sizes, from the sensors and storing the latest failure and/or maintenance information therein. The device also includes a print-out instructing circuit for producing a print-out instruction to print out at least a part of the failure and/or maintenance information stored in the non-volatile memory and the secondary history information obtained from the failure and/or maintenance information. When the print-out instruction circuit has produced a print-out instruction, a part of the latest history information stored in the non-volatile memory is read out corresponding to the produced print-out instruction, and the read out part of the latest history information is subjected to calculation or modification, if necessary, and printed out by the printer per se.

    摘要: A high precision image recording apparatus includes an electrophotographic device having at least a photosensitive drum and an exposure unit, for forming a toner image on the surface of the photosensitive drum; a recording sheet feed/transport unit for feeding and transporting a recording sheet to which the toner image formed on the surface of the photosensitive drum is transferred; a transfer unit for transferring the toner image on the photosensitive drum to the recording sheet fed and transported by the recording sheet feed/transport unit; and a drive unit for driving the photosensitive drum and recording sheet feed/transport unit. The drive unit is provided with a motor coupled to the photosensitive drum via a rotation transmission mechanism having a speed reduction ratio of 1/integer number (inclusive of 1/1), and the exposure unit is provided with a recording start position control unit for starting recording image information from a predetermined reference position on the photosensitive drum.
