In the case of observing a fundus, the fluorescence barrier filter is inserted into an optical path in an observation photographing optical system, so that observation can be performed by using a near-infrared illuminating light. The optical encoder includes a waveform, in which a phase-modulated wave is superimposed in a predetermined period over a sine-wave of a fundamental period, as a signal track (103), and an optical detector (104) for extracting the sine signal and the cosine signal of the phase-modulated wave.     摘要: Magneto-optical disk recording and reproducing devices and actuators and distance detectors for use therewith are disclosed. The magneto-optical disk device includes a bimorph type actuator or an electromagnetic actuator for driving the magnetic head of the magneto-optical disk device. The bimorph actuator has a metallic shim having a width that varies with respect to the longitudinal distance in inverse proportion to the normal function of the first or the second free natural vibration mode. Alternatively, the bimorph type actuator has a recess formed on a bimorph element to expose a piezoelectric portion which outputs a voltage corresponding to the acceleration of the vibration of the actuator. The driver circuit of the actuator reduces the driving voltage when the frequency of the voltage generated at the recess comes into the neighborhood of a higher resonance frequency of the actuator. The optical distance detector comprises a light-emitting diode and a pair of photodiodes which detects the amount of light incident thereon after the light is reflected from a surface of an object the distance to which is measured. The geometric parameters of the photodiodes are selected such that the output of a first photodiode decreases as the measured distance increases while the output of a second photodiode increases as the measured distance increases. Thus, the normalized differential output of the two photodiodes, from which the measured distance is determined, varies substantially linearly with respect to the measured distance. In preferred forms, the photodetectors have stepped concentric configurations so that small distances can be measured accurately and efficiently.

    摘要: A liquid crystal light valve has a photoconductive layer between a pair of electrodes, and a liquid crystal layer. The resistivity of the photoconductive layer at the portion which is irradiated with light is reduced by partial light irradiation. By applying a voltage between the electrodes in this state, the voltage is applied to the liquid crystal layer in the portion which is irradiated with light and the crystalline structure at this portion is changed, thereby enabling image data writing. The photoconductive layer is a laminate of an amorphous Si film and an inorganic insulating film disposed on the electrode side, which structure suppresses the carrier injection from the electrode to the amorphous Si film. The polarity of a voltage for writing image data into the liquid crystal light valve is inverted for every horizontal scanning operation. That is, writing of black portions on a white background and writing of white portions on a black background are alternately executed. It is therefore possible to write data on one line and erase the data on the next line by a voltage of one polarity. By periodically setting a period in which no voltage is applied during writing, writing error caused by stored charges is prevented.
