    摘要: An information recording apparatus includes an energy generation device for generating recording energy; a position control device for controlling a position of irradiation on the recording medium with an output of the energy generation device; a drive device for driving the energy generation device; a switching device for switching information based on user data and test information to supply the two kinds of information selectively to the drive device; a reading device for reading the marks recorded on the recording medium; an evaluation device for evaluating a reproduced signal obtained by the reading device; and a recording condition control device for controlling a recording condition on the basis of an evaluation result obtained by the evaluation device, wherein, when the marks used for recording the test information are to be reproduced, controlling operation of the position control device is changed to be different from that used for recording the test information.

    摘要: A magneto-optical record/reproduce apparatus utilizes a magneto-optical record medium having a surface on which a record area and a non-record area are defined, the non-record area having a lower friction than that of the record area. The apparatus includes a record/read head disposed in the vicinity of the surface of the magneto-optical record medium, the record/read head being moved away from the magneto-optical record medium during a running state of the magneto-optical record medium for recording or reading information, the record/read head being in contact with the magneto-optical record medium during a stop state of the magneto-optical record medium after terminating the recording or reading of the information, a termination detect section for detecting a termination of the recording/reading of the information related to the magneto-optical record medium, and for outputting a termination detect signal, and a move device for moving the record/read head to a position facing the non-record area based on the termination detect signal from the termination detect section.

    摘要: An optical information processing apparatus includes a device for scanning tracks formed on an optical recording medium by a light beam, a device for moving the applied position of the light beam in a direction across the tracks, a device for detecting a tracking error signal indicative of the deviation between the applied position of the light beam and the tracks, a tracking servo device for feeding the tracking error signal back to the moving means, a switching device for selectively rendering the tracking servo device operative or inoperative, and a control device for measuring the time for which the tracking error signal exceeds a predetermined level, and switching the tracking servo device from its inoperative state to its operative state by the switching device after the aforementioned time exceeds a predetermined time.
