    摘要: The invention provides an illumination device comprising a waveguide having a first face, a second face, and a waveguide edge. The device further comprises a LED light source, wherein the LED light source is arranged to couple at least part of the light source light into the waveguide element. The device also comprises a first transmissive reflector, arranged at the first face side, and a second transmissive reflector, arranged at the second face side. The LED light source, the waveguide, the first transmissive reflector, and the second transmissive reflector, are arranged to generate the first and second light in a direction away from the first face and in a direction away from the second face, respectively. Such an illumination device may allow lighting of a room, for instance via the ceiling with uplight, and lighting of a specific area in the room with downlight.

The lamp assembly (1) comprises a reflective layer (7). In the first position of the reflector at least part of the light is reflected by the reflector as well as by the reflective layer (7). In the second position of the reflector at least part of the light is reflected by the reflector and passes along the reflective layer (7).

The first face (21) comprises structures (51) arranged to couple at least part of the light out of the waveguide element (20) via the second face (22) to provide second face light (37). The illumination device (1) further comprises a cavity (80), arranged to allow light to escape from the waveguide element (20) into the cavity (80), and a reflector (81), arranged to reflect at least part of the light in the cavity (80) in a direction away from the second face (22) to provide first face light (47). Such an illumination device may allow lighting a room, for instance via the ceiling with uplight, and lighting a specific area in the room with downlight. Further, a relatively thin illumination device may be provided, which may for instance suspend from a ceiling.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a light emitting diode, LED, light source that may be arranged for retrofitting into a luminaire employing an incandescent light source. The light source comprises a light guide into which light from one or more LEDs in a light unit arranged at one end of the light guide is injected, and a reflector having a reflecting surface arranged at the other end of the light guide and facing towards the light guide capable of reflecting light incident on the reflecting surface. According to the present invention, the reflector comprises at least one transmitting portion being arranged such that at least a portion of light incident on the at least one transmitting portion is transmitted through the reflector, for example a through hole extending along an axis, allowing for an almost viewing angle independent light intensity of the light source.

    摘要: An illumination system comprising at least two closely arranged light sources, each emitting a unique light spectrum during operation, and an optical system (1). The optical system comprises a light guide (4) with an incoupling face (6) and an outcoupling face (7). The optical system further comprises a mirroring transition part (8) connecting the outcoupling face of the light guide with a transparent light extraction panel (9). The transparent light extraction panel has an extraction structure (11) for outcoupling of light to the exterior. The light guide and the extraction means are specular reflective, the mirror preferably being about specular reflective. Compared to the known illumination systems the illumination system of the invention is both relatively efficient and has an improved control of the light beam.
