    摘要: The present disclosure provides a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a substrate, a light-emitting layer, and a light refracting layer. The light-emitting layer is disposed on the substrate and includes multiple light-emitting units arranged at intervals. The light-emitting unit is configured to emit light. The light-refracting layer includes multiple first medium parts and multiple second medium parts, where the first medium part covers a surface of the light-emitting unit, and the second medium part is arranged between adjacent first medium parts. The first medium part has a first refractive index n1 for light emitted by the light-emitting unit, and the second medium part has a second refractive index n2 for the light emitted by the light-emitting unit, where n1>n2.

    摘要: A method for increasing availability of light at a target area, comprising: selecting, at a time of manufacture of a convex reflective surface or optical equivalent thereof, maximum and minimum inclinations and curvature determined by an orientation and latitude and range of azimuths available for insolation at a location where the convex reflective surface or optical equivalent thereof is to be mounted, such that the convex reflective surface or optical equivalent thereof will, when mounted, deflect insolation to the target area without adjustment of a position, inclinations, or curvature of the convex reflective surface; statically mounting the convex reflective surface in a fixed orientation at the position above the target area, and deflecting sunlight received at the convex reflective surface vertically or obliquely downwards onto the target area without adjustment of the position, inclinations, or curvature of the convex reflective surface or optical equivalent thereof throughout the day.

    摘要: A lighting device according to the invention includes: a funnel shaped reflector including a first hole in which a light source is disposed, a second hole which emits light, and a reflecting curved surface connecting the first hole with the second hole, a first direction being defined as a direction of a line connecting a center of the first hole with a center of the second hole; a reflection plate, being opposed to the second hole of the funnel shaped reflector, major surface being tilted with a first angle; and a liquid crystal lens including an incident surface and opposing to the reflection plate, a major surface of the incident surface being tilted to the major surface of the reflection plate with a second angle, in which light emitted from the funnel shaped reflector is reflected at the reflection plate, and is emitted from the liquid crystal lens.
