    Abstract: Upon performing diagnosis of a machine tool, etc., data suited to diagnosis is acquired while also reducing the burden on the user. A diagnostic data acquisition system that acquires diagnostic data for diagnosing a machine tool includes: a control unit that controls driving of a mobile part of the machine tool based on control data; a timing generation unit that generates an acquisition timing for the diagnostic data based on the control data; and a diagnostic data acquisition unit that acquires data which varies accompanying driving of the mobile part according to control by the control unit, as the diagnostic data.

    Abstract: A rotor core of a magnet-embedded electric motor includes a first tubular member and a second tubular member coaxially fixed to a shaft. The first tubular member includes a magnet fixing hole in which the magnet is fixed and a recess formed in an outer circumferential surface. The second tubular member includes a magnet fixing hole in which the magnet is fixed. The magnet fixing hole includes an arrangement region where the magnet is arranged, and an escape region having a size that allows magnet fixing agent to accumulate. The arrangement region of the first tubular member communicates with the arrangement region of the second tubular member, and the recess of the first tubular member communicates with the escape region of the second tubular member.

    Abstract: A numerical control system detects a state amount indicating an operation state of a machine tool, creates a characteristic amount that characterizes the state of a machining operation from the detected state amount, infers an evaluation value of the operation state of the machine tool from the characteristic amount, and detects an abnormality in the operation state of the machine tool on the basis of the inferred evaluation value. The numerical control system generates and updates a learning model by machine learning that uses the characteristic amount, and stores the learning model in correlation with a combination of conditions of the machining operation of the machine tool.

    Abstract: An electric motor is provided with an annular member supported by a cylindrical member of a front housing. The annular member includes an opposite part spaced from a surface of a ring member in a rotary shaft, which extends in the circumferential direction. The annular member includes first cover part opposed to first surface of the ring member, and second cover part opposed to second surface of the ring member. The first cover part and the second cover part are spaced from the ring member so that a pressure in a space sandwiched by the first cover part and the first surface is equalized with a pressure in a space sandwiched by the second cover part and the second surface.

    Abstract: A machine learning unit capable of judging the necessity of replacement of a spindle of a machine tool. A machine learning unit includes a state observing section observing a state variable comprising processing volume data showing a number of processed workpieces, processing accuracy data showing a difference between an actual dimension of a processed workpiece and a dimension target value, interruption time data showing a time period of interruption of operation of the machine tool, and replacement determination data showing a judgment result of a necessity of spindle replacement; and a learning section provided with profit-and-loss data comprising a profit per unit time or a loss per unit time, generated by a production of the processed workpiece, and a loss per unit time generated due to the spindle replacement. The learning section uses the profit-and-loss data and the state variable and learns a condition associated with the spindle replacement.
