    Abstract: An image exposure device (10) includes an image display device (20) having a pixel (21), a photosensitive recording medium support portion that supports a photosensitive recording medium (40) in which an image of the image display device (20) is recorded in a state in which an exposure surface (40A) of the photosensitive recording medium (40) faces the image display device (20), a collimation portion (50) that is provided between the image display device (20) and the photosensitive recording medium (40) and makes light from the pixel (21) into parallel light, and an absorption layer (60) that is provided between the image display device (20) and the photosensitive recording medium (40) and has a light transmittance for the light from the pixel (21) of 50% or less.

    Abstract: According to the present invention, provided is a system for irradiating a target object selectively with specific circularly polarized light, comprising a polarization-state control member that controls the polarization state of light to thereby generate circularly polarized light; and a circularly polarized light-reflecting member, wherein the circularly polarized light-reflecting member is disposed at a position on which the circularly polarized light emitted from the polarization-state control member can be incident; the circularly polarized light-reflecting member generates reflected light that selectively comprises circularly polarized light of the same sense as the incident circularly polarized light from the polarization-state control member; and the circularly polarized light-reflecting member is disposed such that the target object can be irradiated with at least a part of the reflected light.

    Abstract: Provided are a plant-growth laminated film and a plant-growth illumination apparatus that more efficiently provide circularly polarized light used for plant growth. Included are a reflective-type linearly polarizing plate that transmits one of linearly polarized light components of incident light and that reflects the other linearly polarized light component, and a λ/4 plate that converts, into circularly polarized light, linearly polarized light provided by transmission through the reflective-type linearly polarizing plate, wherein the λ/4 plate has an in-plane retardation of 165±40 nm at a wavelength of 660 nm.

    Abstract: An information collection system includes a plurality of radio tags and a reading device. Each of the radio tags stores identification information and includes a sensor, an antenna that receives a carrier wave from the reading device, and a data transmission unit that sends measurement data including the identification information and information obtained by the sensor to the reading device after the carrier wave is received by the antenna. The plurality of radio tags send the identification information and the information obtained by the sensor with different natural periods from the data transmission units. The reading device transmits the carrier wave to each of the radio tags, receives data from each of the radio tags, and obtains the data.
