摘要: An integrated circuit for decoding an analog audio signal includes a tuner that receives the analog audio signal and provides a sound intercarrier frequency signal. A digital demodulator receives and digitizes the sound intercarrier frequency signal to provide a digitized sound intercarrier frequency signal, and digitally demodulates the digitized sound intercarrier frequency signal to provide a digitized multichannel television sound (MTS) demodulated signal. A digital broadcast television system committee (BTSC) compatible decoder receives and decodes the digitized multichannel television sound (MTS) demodulated signal, and provides a summed (L+R) audio output signal and a difference (L−R) audio output signal.

摘要: In the automatic equipping of, for example, printed circuit boards with components, the problem of the unknown position of the component legs occurs. According to the invention, the positions of the component legs in a component picked up by a gripper are measured by a sensor immediately before plug-in. This sensor is essentially composed of two independently horizontally movable perforated plates, each including an infrared emitting diode which emits onto a stationary position photodiode situated therebelow. The measured result can be employed for the positional correction or for the rejection or acceptance of the component.

摘要: When customer transport requests are included in an update procedure performed on a customer-customizable business software architecture, versioning of the objects and other features imported via such transport requests can require an extended period of business downtime using conventional methods. Additional downtime can result if the objects of the customer transports are not automatically generated. Consistent with features described herein, versioning can be done for many object types in a second shadow system or instance during uptime. The generation of objects in the customer transports can also done in the second shadow system or instance during uptime.

摘要: To allow more reliable detection of occupancy of a seat by a person, the invention includes a detection device for detecting occupancy of a seat, in particular of a vehicle seat or motor vehicle seat, comprising at least one elongate light guide having at least one elongate core element and at least one elongate sheath at a distance from the core element. The light guide is deformable by mechanical actuation means in at least one direction running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the light guide by the deformation brought about by the seat being occupied causes the light to exit from the light guide on the side opposite the mechanical means.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for screening compounds with estrogenic or anti-estrogenic activity by providing a cellular system of a sample thereof being capable of expressing at least a single gene of Table 1, incubating at least a portion of the system with compounds to be screened, and comparing an expression of the single gene of Table 1 in the system with the gene expression in a control cellular system. Another object of the invention concerns a method for monitoring physiological and/or pathological conditions, which are caused, mediated and/or propagated by estrogen receptor signaling, by administering an effective amount of at least a single compound to a mammal in need of such treatment and determining an expression of the single gene of Table 1 in a biological sample withdrawn from the mammal. The invention also relates to the use of the genes of Table 1 as well as substances specifically interacting with gene products encoded by the genes of Table 1.
