摘要: The present invention discloses an improved air conditioning system which can supply fresh air prepared separately. A first preferred embodiment of the present invention provides an air conditioning system including an outdoor unit, an indoor unit installed in a ceiling, and means connected to the indoor unit for supplying fresh air stored separately to the indoor unit. A second preferred embodiment of the present invention provides an air conditioning system including an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, air supply and air discharge ducts, and means connected to the air supply duct for supplying fresh air stored separately to the indoor unit. In the second embodiment, the indoor unit includes a fan, an indoor heat exchanger, and a guide duct for guiding flow passages of the external air and room air, and, if necessary, further including a preheat exchanger arranged to surround the guide duct for indirect heat exchange between the external air and the indoor air.

摘要: A surface discharge type air cleaning device comprises an insulating dielectric body formed in the shape of a sheet, a discharge electrode having a pattern part of a predetermined area formed on the upper surface of the insulating dielectric body and at least one non-pattern part disposed in the pattern part and a ground electrode formed at the lower surface of the insulating dielectric body. The discharge electrode and the ground electrode have a plurality of pointed ends protruded therefrom, respectively. The pointed ends of the discharge electrode and the pointed ends of the ground electrode are disposed at the upper and lower surfaces of the insulating dielectric body, respectively, such that the pointed ends of the discharge electrode and the pointed ends of the ground electrode correspond to each other. Generation of negative ions and hydroxyl radicals is increased while generation of ozone is decreased, and therefore, air cleaning efficiency is improved.

摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling an air cleaning. The apparatus includes an air cleaning element, an AC high-voltage generator and a control unit. The air cleaning element generates negative ions and ozone using plasma discharge, and cleans indoor air using the negative ions and ozone. The AC high-voltage generator generates an AC high-voltage, and applies the AC high-voltage to the air cleaning element. The control unit varies at least one of the AC voltage and AC frequency applied to the air cleaning element by the AC high-voltage generator depending on a state of indoor air being cleaned using the air cleaning element. Therefore, it is possible to effectively generate negative ions while minimizing ozone generation to an acceptable level depending on a state of indoor air, thereby increasing air cleaning performance so as to sterilize and clean contaminants more efficiently.

摘要: An air cleaner and method of controlling an operation of the same is disclosed. The air cleaner includes a cabinet having an inlet and an outlet; a filter assembly removing dust and smell particles from a room air; a fan; a sensor assembly sensing the composition of the room air; a supplier assembly providing at least one of insufficient components of the room air to a cleaned air; and a controller controlling the supplier assembly on the basis of data regarding the composition of the room air. In another aspect, the method of controlling the operation of the air cleaner includes steps of sensing a room air; measuring insufficient components of the room air and the amount thereof; and providing at least one of the insufficient components of the room air to a cleaned air.

The electrode is not formed at the non-pattern part. The pattern of the discharge electrode is formed in the depressed structure. Consequently, it is possible to lower onset voltage and input energy and to accomplish uniform and stable plasma formation, and therefore, the number of hydroxyl radicals and negative ions is increased while the amount of ozone is decreased.
