    摘要: Finely divided polysacharide derivatives are described. The finely divided polysacharide derivatives are prepared by a process comprising: a) forming an aqueous composition comprising a polysaccharide derivative and water, in which the polysaccharide derivative is soaked or dissolved; b) converting the polysaccharide derivative of the aqueous composition into finely divided solid particles by, (i) contacting the aqueous composition with superheated water vapor in a dryer-pulverizer; or (ii) causing the polysaccharide derivative of the aqueous composition to flocculate; and c) optionally drying the finely divided solid particles of step b). The primary structures of the polysaccharide starting material are largely removed, and the product has a shape factor of less than 5 and greater than or equal to 1.

    摘要: The present invention relates to novel thermoplastic, water-insoluble cellulose hydroxyalkyl hydroxycarboxylic acid esters of the general structureCell--O--Rwhere Cell--O is the substituted OH group of a polymeric cellulose unit and R is either a monomeric and/or polymeric hydroxyalkylether hydroxycarboxylic acid ester of the structure X:X=--A--B--in which A is a linear polyether chain:A=(--D--O--).sub.nin which D signifies a linear aliphatic branched or unbranched chain with 2 to 11 C atoms and n is a whole number equal to or greater than 1, and B is a linear polyester chain: ##STR1## in which E signifies a linear aliphatic branched or unbranched chain with 2 to 5 C atoms and m is a whole number equal to or greater than 1, or R is equal to A or B or X and a combination thereof in any ratio, or R is equal to H (hydrogen) according to the degree of substitution per anhydroglucose unit (max. 3) with A, B or X, and a process for their production and use of these cellulose derivatives as biodegradable mouldings.

    摘要: A lifting truck tailgate is attached to an angled, swiveling arm which is attached to a lifting arm by a pivot and supported on a structural member of the lifting arm. The lifting arm is actuated by a pressure cylinder. A spring activated catch on the lifting arm mates with a matching projection on the swiveling arm thereby preventing liftoff of the swiveling arm from the lifting arm when a heavy load is placed on the trailing edge of the tailgate. An adjustable screw disengages the latch when the pressure cylinder is fully retracted enabling the tailgate to form a ramp when it rests on the ground.

    摘要: A process is disclosed for the cleaning of a clogged packed column. The packed column is utilized for gas cleaning in a scrubbing operation carried out with a scrubbing medium, and becomes plugged by deposits which form during operation. In order to be able to effectively and economically break up these deposits, the packed column is flooded, e.g., with a scrubbing medium, wherein the flooding fluid has a specific gravity greater than that of the particles of packing material. During the flooding of the packing, the deposits are broken up by flotation of the packing material. Preferably, the packed column can thus be utilized in scrubbing out H.sub.2 S in an oxidative scrubbing process in which sulfur deposits form.
