Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, a device, and a system for determining timing advance grouping. In one embodiment, a base station adds a component carrier (CC) for a user equipment (UE). The base station determines a timing advance (TA) group to which the added CC belongs. The TA group is a set of CCs that can share a TA. The base station sends identification information that identifies the TA group to the UE.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a wireless local area network WLAN measurement and reporting method, and a related device. The method includes: acquiring, by a user terminal, WLAN group information, where the WLAN group information indicates at least one WLAN group; determining, by the user terminal, whether at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies WLAN measurement configuration information; and reporting, by the user terminal, a measurement result of the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group to a base station when the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies the WLAN measurement configuration information. Therefore, a signaling resource can be saved, thereby reducing signaling load caused by simultaneous reporting of a large quantity of WLAN measurement results.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a communications system, a local mobile node, and a base station. The communications system includes an MME, multiple eNBs, and a local mobile node. The local mobile node receives a path handover request sent by a target eNB, and when determining, according to a path handover request message, that a local path handover needs to be performed, establishes a user data path between the local mobile node and the target eNB for UE according to the path handover request, so that user plane data is transmitted between the UE and a serving gateway by using the user data path. In this way, signaling load on the MME can be avoided, a time consumed by an entire handover procedure is shorter, and a handover failure caused in a conventional manner is avoided.

The present invention, by realizing aggregation between a two network systems, may dynamically schedule the resources of the two network systems according to loads of the two network systems, thereby provides load balancing with extremely high efficiency, and is capable of increase the peak data rate of the user effectively and remarkably.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a terminal device and a method thereof for reducing interference in a device, which belong to the field of interference processing. The method includes: receiving a control signaling for interference processing sent by a base station; and according to the control signaling, stopping a related operation within a non-scheduling period of a communication mode corresponding to the control signaling. The terminal device includes: a receiving module, and a stopping module. This reduces the interference to the other communication modes due to the communication mode corresponding to the control signaling within the non-scheduling period, and thus reduces interference in the terminal device within the non-scheduling period.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a carrier aggregation capability reporting apparatus and method, so as to prevent a user equipment (UE) from repeatedly reporting capability information corresponding to a carrier combination supported by the UE, and reduce waste of signaling resources used for reporting. The method includes: determining, by the UE, information about a carrier combination supported by the UE and information about a sub-combination that is of the carrier combination and that is supported by the UE; and reporting, by the UE to a base station, the determined information about the carrier combination supported by the UE and the determined information about the sub-combination that is of the carrier combination and that is supported by the UE.

A communication method is described that includes a terminal device receiving a first message sent by a network device to which the terminal device expects to be handed over, and the first message indicates at least one target manner of the air interface technology determined by the network device from at least one optional manner of the air interface technology. Thereafter, the terminal device communicates with the network device by using the at least one target manner of the air interface technology.
Abstract:
The present application describes a data processing method used for implementing data transmission between multiple carriers and a HARQ entity. A terminal receives mapping relationship information sent from a base station, where the mapping relationship information is used to indicate a mapping relationship between a HARQ entity of the terminal and a frequency resource configured by the base station for the terminal. The terminal determines the frequency resource. The terminal determines a HARQ entity corresponding to the frequency resource according to the mapping relationship information and processes a HARQ data block transmitted on the frequency resource by using the HARQ entity. Therefore, carrier communication channels for real-time transmission between the base station and the terminal are increased, to improve transmission efficiency.
Abstract:
A communication method performed by a terminal device is described. The method includes receiving a notification message from a network device. The notification message carries a target manner of an uplink waveform. The method further includes determining the target manner of an uplink waveform, and thereafter sending a message 3 with the target manner of the uplink waveform to the network device to perform an initial random access.
