The door also has a glass door between the inner frame and the outer frame and a recess portion disposed in an inner circumferential surface of the outer frame.

Disclosed is a color optical link using a transparently jacketed plastic optical fiber which optically transmits data and uses light, scattered and emitted to the outside, for the purpose of illumination, and a method for achieving the color optical link. The color optical link includes a first driver for receiving digital or analog signals and a coloring signal in parallel and converting the received signals into optical signals through a plurality of light sources; the plurality of light sources for emitting light having different wavelengths in order to output the optical signals; a first POF coupler for inputting a plurality of the optical signals received from the plurality of the light sources into the transparently jacketed plastic optical fiber; the transparently jacketed plastic optical fiber having one end connected to the first POF coupler and the other end connected to a second POF coupler; the second POF coupler being provided for separating an optical signal transmitted from the transparently jacketed plastic optical fiber into a plurality of optical signals and respectively inputting the optical signals into a plurality of optical detectors; the plurality of the optical detectors respectively having filters for separating the received optical signal into plural signals according to wavelengths; and a second driver for receiving the optical signals from the optical detectors and converting the received optical signals into electrical signals.

The disclosed mold includes recessed parts which have a shape corresponding to embossed portions of the barrier rib to be fabricated, and protruding parts which have a shape corresponding to depressed portions of the barrier rib to be fabricated, protrude adjacent to the recessed parts, and are tapered. The protruding parts and the recessed parts are arranged at regular intervals. It is possible to simply fabricate the two-layered barrier rib for inkjet application through a single embossing process at low cost using the mold for fabricating the barrier rib of the present invention.

A detergent container of a washing machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a powdered detergent chamber to store powdered detergent, an outlet to discharge powdered detergent mixed with water in the powdered detergent chamber, a subsidiary detergent chamber to store bleach or fabric softner, a drain passage to guide powdered detergent mixed with water from the powdered detergent chamber to the outlet, and a bypass passage to allow powdered detergent mixed with water to bypass from the powdered detergent chamber to the drain passage. Even though an excessive volume of powdered detergent is placed in the powdered detergent chamber and the drain passage is clogged, powdered detergent mixed with water can be drained from the detergent container through the bypass passage, thus powdered detergent can be supplied to a tub of the washing machine without a hitch.

The first passage is provided with washing water. The second passage diverges from the first passage and supplies the washing water to a container that contains a detergent. The auxiliary passage additionally connects the first passage with the second passage.

Provided are motion estimation algorithm development and design of a structure for implementing hardware of a motion estimator. A hardware structure that simultaneously satisfies MPEG-4 and H.264 standards and requires less hardware is provided. The provided structure is applicable to both MPEG-4 and H.264 using one hardware device according to the mode (MPEG-4 or H.264). The motion estimation apparatus includes: a sampling portion for sampling image data in units of blocks and generating sampling blocks; a block division/address generator for dividing the sampling blocks into sampling sub-blocks and generating addresses for motion estimation calculation; and a motion calculator for calculating motion using a motion estimation function for each sub-block.

A hinge assembly for a door of a laundry device which has a bracket fixed to a cabinet and a hinge arm having a first end rotatably connected to the bracket and a second end connected to a door, wherein at least two fastening holes fastened to the cabinet by a fastening unit are formed on an upper end portion and a lower end portion of the bracket, and the fastening holes of the lower end portion are formed at the same height. The fastening holes of the upper end portion are formed at the same height. An object of the present invention is to provide a hinge assembly for a door of a laundry device which can prevent damage or deformity thereof by dispersing the load of the door to each fastening portion of a hinge assembly.

A method for water supply in a laundry device is disclosed. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for water supply in a laundry device which prevents detergent from remaining/being stuck in/to a dispenser body by discharging detergent/wash water more smoothly. A method for water supply in a laundry device includes (a) step for supplying water; (b) step for temporarily stopping water supply for a predetermined time in the middle of the water supply; and (c) step for re-starting water supply after the predetermined time and finishing water supply to a predetermined water level.
