摘要： Colored polymeric compounds of the general formula ##STR1## where A is the radical of a quaternized, methylene-active compound, R is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or phenyl, R.sup.1 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, hydroxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, T is alkylene which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or hydroxyl, or is a radical of the formula ##STR2## M.sup..crclbar. is an anion and n is a number >1. The compounds according to the invention are particularly suitable for coloring paper stock.

摘要： The present invention relates to compositions for treating hard surfaces, comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible compound as component A which is obtainable by reacting: aa) polyalkylenepolyamines, polyamidoamines, polyamidoamines grafted with ethyleneimine, polyether-amines and mixtures of said compounds, as component Aa; ab) if appropriate at least bifunctional crosslinkers which have, as functional group, a halogenhydrin, glycidyl, aziridine or isocyanate unit or a halogen atom, as component Ab; and ac) monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, salts, esters, amides or nitriles of monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, chlorocarboxylic acids and/or glycidyl compounds, such as glycidyl acid, glycidylamide or glycidyl esters; and water; to a process for the preparation of a water-soluble or water-dispersible compound, to water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds preparable by the process according to the invention, and to the use of water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds according to the present application in compositions for treating hard surfaces.

摘要： Sizing agents for paper are based on finely divided aqueous dispersions of copolymers obtainable by copolymerizing from 40 to 140 parts by weight of a monomer mixture of(a) from 20 to 65% by weight of (meth)acrylonitrile,(b) from 35 to 80% by weight of one or more acrylates of monohydric saturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 -alcohols and(c) from 0 to 10% by weight of other ethylenically unsaturated copolymerizable monomers,the weight percentages (a), (b) and (c) always adding up to 100, in the manner of an emulsion polymerization in 100 parts by weight of an aqueous solution containing in solution from 2.7 to 15% by weight of a degraded starch having a viscosity n.sub.i from 0.04 to less than 0.12 dl/g at from 40.degree. to 100.degree. C. in the presence of a peroxide initiator.
