    摘要: A plate-like member (8) and three lamp sockets (15, 25, 35) are mounted onto a lamp body (2) to form a rear combination lamp (1). The plate-like member (8) is formed by two thermoplastic resin sheets (9a, 9b) having a hot-melt adhesive therebetween, which are adhesively bonded together, while wire-like conductors (W1, W2, W3, G) are sandwiched therebetween. The plate-like member (8) has three holes (10), and notches (11) are formed in a peripheral edge of each hole (10). Predetermined portions of the conductors (W1, W2, W3, G), which are held between the sheets (9a, 9b), are exposed at the notches (11), respectively. Each of the lamp sockets (15, 25, 35) includes a socket body (16, 26, 36) for receiving connection terminals, and a flange (17, 27, 37). A conductor contact portion of each of the connection terminals projects from the associated flange (17, 27, 37), and is abutted against the associated conductor (W1, W2, W3, G).

    摘要: In a primary molding step, a connector housing having a hood portion is molded. In a secondary molding step, an elastic seal ring is molded on an inner side of the hood portion. Through holes are formed in the connector housing in the primary molding step which allow an elastic material to flow therethrough from a seal ring-forming portion on the inner side of the hood portion to an outer side of the hood portion, and which retain part of the seal ring formed at the seal ring-forming portion when the elastic material is cured. An air reservoir portion is formed in a secondary mold, which communicates with outer open ends of the through holes in the connector housing in the secondary molding step.

    摘要: An inspection device for connectors comprises a connector support (6) and an inspection main body (3) movable relative to each other. The main body has therein a plurality of inspection pins (11) connected to an inspecting electric circuit, which inspection pins are each urged forwardly by a spring (2). A connector to be inspected has a plurality of terminal-accommodating chambers, each containing a resilient cantilever support piece (14) and a space (16) adjacent the support piece. Each inspection pin (11) includes a continuity-test surface (11a) and an incomplete-insertion detector portion (11b) protruding forwardly of the continuity-test surface, which detector portion (11b) is at the front end formed with an abutment means (11c) engageable with a corresponding abutment means (14b) of the related support piece (14). During inspection, the detector portion (11b) enters the space (16) adjacent the support piece (14) so that the continuity-test surface contacts a terminal lug (C) in fully-inserted position in the accommodating chamber. Terminal lugs are individually inspected whether in fully-inserted or incompletely-inserted position without making errors.

    摘要: A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.
