摘要: A stator 13 on whose outer circumference a plurality of magnetic poles 13a are arranged is mounted on a substrate 11, and a rotor 14 is rotatably disposed around the stator. The inner circumferential face of the rotor is provided with a magnet 15 magnetized to have alternately opposite polarities in a direction opposing the stator, and magnetized to have alternately opposite polarities in a direction opposing the substrate. The outer circumferential ends of the magnetic poles of the stator are provided with a first extended portion 13c that extends from a magnetic pole base 13d to the substrate side, and a second extended portion 13b that extends from the magnetic pole base to a side opposite the substrate side. A face of the substrate opposing the rotor is provided with a FG pattern 19 outside the outer circumferential face of the stator such that the FG pattern opposes the magnet. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the precision in detecting the rotational speed by reducing noise superimposed on the FG signal, while securing a high driving efficiency.

Also identified are CalDAG-GEF gene homologues in mice and cAMP-GEF gene homologues in rats. Nucleic acids and proteins comprising or derived from the CalDAG-GEFs and/or cAMP-GEFs are useful in screening and diagnosing certain Ras-associated cancers, in identifying and developing therapeutics for treatment of certain Ras-associated cancers, and in producing cell lines and transgenic animals useful as models of Ras-associated cancers.

摘要: A method for alarming decrease in tire air-pressure. The method includes the steps of: detecting rotational information of respective tires; respectively calculating and storing a wheel speed, a vehicle acceleration, a slip ratio between front and rear wheels, a running distance and a turning radius; accumulating the running distance, the moving-averaged vehicle acceleration and the slip ratio between front and rear wheels; obtaining a linear regression coefficient and a correlation coefficient of the vehicle acceleration and the slip ratio; judging whether at least a driving wheel tire has decompressed upon comparing a judged value of the linear regression coefficient and a reference value for internal pressure of the linear regression coefficient; and issuing an alarm of decrease in tire air-pressure. It is possible to improve performance and safety of the vehicle since it is possible to detect decompression of tires including at least one driving wheel tire, for instance, of not less than two wheel tires including the right and left driving wheels.

摘要: An apparatus for determining a condition of road surface comprising: rotational speed detecting means for periodically detecting rotational speeds of four tires of a vehicle; first computing means for computing a slip ratio from measurement values of the rotational speed detecting means; second computing means for obtaining a relational formula between the slip ratio and either the acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle; and friction coefficient judging means for judging a coefficient of friction occurring between a road and a tire on the basis of a slope of the relational formula obtained by the second computing means. The road friction coefficient can be judged with high accuracy in a short time using only the wheel rotational speed information of four wheels, whereby the performance and safety of a vehicle can be increased.

摘要: In a fluorescent display device having control electrodes and anodes, each anode having an anode electrode and a fluorescent layer formed thereon, a filament is installed between the control electrodes and the anode electrodes. When an anode is selected to be turned on to emit light, a first voltage (V1) is applied to the filament, a second voltage (V2) is applied to the selected anode and a third voltage (V3) is applied to a control electrode facing the selected anode, wherein V2 is greater than V1 and V3 is equal to or greater than V1. When a voltage applied to a target control electrode is lower than a voltage applied to the filament by more than a predetermined voltage difference, an anode facing the target control electrode is not turned on to emit light even when V2 is applied thereto.
