    摘要: A piston coupling mechanism for a swash plate type compressor is disclosed. A disk-shaped swash plate is pivotally mounted on a drive shaft for rotation together with the drive shaft. A plurality of pistons are mounted to the peripheral portion of the swash plate. Each piston is arranged to linearly reciprocates in accordance with the rotation of the swash plate. Connecting members are provided for coupling the piston and the swash plate. The connecting members are arranged to move at least in a radial direction of the drive shaft.

    摘要: A compressor has a piston (11) that reciprocates between a top dead center and a bottom dead center in a cylinder bore (2a) by means of a driving body (9) mounted on a rotary shaft (6) in a crank chamber (5) during the rotation of the rotary shaft (6). The piston (11) has an outer circumferential surface that slides against an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder bore (2a). The outer circumferential surface of the piston (11) is provided with a groove (17; 44; 46) extending in the direction of an axis (S) of the piston (11). During reciprocation of the piston (11), lubricating oil adhered to the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder bore (2a) is collected in the groove (17; 44; 46). When the groove (17; 44; 46) is exposed to the inside of the crank chamber (5) from the cylinder bore (2a) during the reciprocation of the piston (11), the lubricating oil in the groove (17; 44; 46) is supplied to the inside of the crank chamber (5). The lubricating oil lubricates the driving body (9) and other parts in the crank chamber (5).

    摘要: A swash plate is mounted on a drive shaft disposed in a housing having a gas suction chamber in such a way that the swash plate is rotatable integrally with the drive shaft. A plurality of cylinder bores are formed around the drive shaft, extending along the drive shaft. Disposed in each cylinder bore is a piston, which reciprocates between top and bottom dead centers by undulating movement of the swash plate caused by rotation of the drive shaft. A compression chamber where gas is compressed by the reciprocal movement of the piston is defined in each cylinder bore. Provided between the drive shaft and the swash plate is a mechanism for altering an angle of the swash plate with respect to the axis of the drive shaft to change a reciprocal stroke of the piston to thereby control compression displacement. A rotary valve is provided at the drive shaft to be rotatable integrally with the drive shaft. The rotary valve has a passage for permitting uncompressed gas to move to each compression chamber from the suction chamber in synchronism with the reciprocal movement of the piston during rotation of the rotary valve before the piston reaches the bottom dead center. The compressor further comprises a mechanism for forcibly changing the timing at which the piston substantially reaches the top dead center in accordance with an inclined angle of the swash plate.

    摘要: In a swash-plate compressor, pistons are slidably received in cylinder bores. A drive shaft is extended through a crank chamber, and is rotated through an electromagnetic clutch means associated therewith. A conversion mechanism is provided on the shaft for converting a rotational movement of the shaft into a reciprocation of each piston in the corresponding cylinder bore such that a suction stroke and a discharge stroke are alternately executed therein. A fluid is introduced from a suction chamber into the bore during the suction stroke, and during the compression stroke, the fluid is compressed in and discharged from the bore into a discharge chamber. The conversion mechanism is constituted such that a stroke length is shortened in response to an increase of a pressure in the crank chamber, and vice versa. A first passage communicates the crank with the suction chamber, and a second passage communicates the crank chamber with the discharge chamber. A control valve is provided in one of the first or second passage, and is magnetically actuated by the clutch for controlling the pressure in the crank chamber such that the piston stroke can be minimized whenever the clutch is electrically deenergized.

    摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a hinge mechanism having a pair of support arms integrally formed with and protruding from the drive plate, and guide pins which connect the swash plate with the support arms. Each support arm is formed having a unshaped cutaway portion defining a channel for supporting ball portion of the hinge mechanism. The ball portion pivotably secured in the channel portion of the support arm, is attached to guide pin which in turn connects to a bracket protruding from the swash plate. The ball portion transmits pressure & rotational forces generated by the pistons and rotational force of the drive plate respectively. The forces cause the ball portion of the hinge mechanism to impinge upon pre selected surface area of the u-shaped support arm. By impinging on these preselected surface areas of the u-shaped support arm, the ball portion will not disengage from the channel portion of the support arm. Moreover the shape of the support arm increases the motility of the ball portion and associate guide pin secured within the support arm. The guide pin is slidably inserted into either the support arm or the swash plate, and is rotatably supported by means of the support arm.
