摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a hinge mechanism having a pair of support arms integrally formed with and protruding from the drive plate, and guide pins which connect the swash plate with the support arms. Each support arm is formed having a unshaped cutaway portion defining a channel for supporting ball portion of the hinge mechanism. The ball portion pivotably secured in the channel portion of the support arm, is attached to guide pin which in turn connects to a bracket protruding from the swash plate. The ball portion transmits pressure & rotational forces generated by the pistons and rotational force of the drive plate respectively. The forces cause the ball portion of the hinge mechanism to impinge upon pre selected surface area of the u-shaped support arm. By impinging on these preselected surface areas of the u-shaped support arm, the ball portion will not disengage from the channel portion of the support arm. Moreover the shape of the support arm increases the motility of the ball portion and associate guide pin secured within the support arm. The guide pin is slidably inserted into either the support arm or the swash plate, and is rotatably supported by means of the support arm.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor is disclosed having an improved pivotal mounting between its drive plate and the rotary journal that carries the swash plate. The pivotal mounting structure includes a bearing and a pin. The bearing is pivotally mounted on the drive plate. The pin couples the drive plate to the rotary journal. The pin is slidably mounted in a slot in the bearing so that when the bearing and rotary journal pivot, the pin may slide with in the slot. With this arrangement, the point at which a load from the journal is transferred to the drive plate remains substantially fixed regardless of the inclination angle of the journal.

摘要: A variable capacity swash plate type refrigerant compressor having a swash plate assembly rotatably mounted on a drive shaft and capable of turning around a hinge-ball to change an angle of inclination thereof, and a plurality of pistons reciprocated by the swash plate assembly within a plurality of cylinder bores to implement suction, compression and discharge of refrigerant gas in response to the rotation of the drive shaft, the hinge-ball being formed with a central bore for permitting the drive shaft to extend therethrough, a single spherical outer face, and a pair of flat faces arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane passing the middle of the spherical outer face and perpendicular to the axis of the central bore. The swash plate assembly is provided with a large central bore enclosed by an inner wall having a spherical wall region engageable with the single spherical outer face of the hinge-ball, and a pair of guide recesses for permitting the hinge-ball to be assembled by the guide of the guide recesses.

摘要: A reciprocatory piston type compressor having a compressor body in which a low pressure suction chamber for the refrigerant before compression, a discharge chamber for the refrigerant after compression, and a plurality of axial cylinder bores receiving a corresponding number of reciprocatory pistons are provided therein, and a rotating plate suction valve capable of mechanically and forcibly opening suction ports in synchronism with the suction stroke of the reciprocatory pistons to thereby permit the refrigerant gas before compression to be drawn into the cylinder bores without time delay. A discharge valve capable of mechanically and forcibly open the discharge ports in synchronism with the discharge stroke of the pistons is also provided in the compressor body.

摘要: A plurality of pistons of a variable displacement compressor are reciprocatably disposed in cylinder bores which are formed in a housing. A drive shaft is rotatably supported in the housing. A lug plate is rotatable with the drive shaft. A swash plate is tiltably and slidably mounted on the drive shaft. The swash plate is operatively coupled with the pistons. A hinge mechanism connects the lug plate and the swash plate. The hinge mechanism causes the pistons to reciprocate via the lug plate and the swash plate, in response to the rotational motion of the drive shaft. The hinge mechanism includes a pin, which has a first and a second end portions. The first end portion of the pin is slidably inserted into the swash plate. A support arm protrudes from the lug plate, and further includes a bush. The bush rotatably supports the second end portion of the pin.

摘要: A piston coupling mechanism for a swash plate type compressor is disclosed. A disk-shaped swash plate is pivotally mounted on a drive shaft for rotation together with the drive shaft. A plurality of pistons are mounted to the peripheral portion of the swash plate. Each piston is arranged to linearly reciprocates in accordance with the rotation of the swash plate. Connecting members are provided for coupling the piston and the swash plate. The connecting members are arranged to move at least in a radial direction of the drive shaft.

摘要: A compressor including a rotation detecting device for detecting the rotation of the compressor to stop the compressor in an emergency. The rotation detecting device comprises a fastening bolt fastening the casing sections together, a rotatable member supported by a drive shaft, and a magnetic sensor arranged outside the casing around the head of the fastening bolt. A magnetic flux is guided from a magnetic clutch to the rotatable member or provided by permanent magnets on the rotatable member. The rotatable member has a notch or a projection for producing periodically changing a magnetic flux which passes through the fastening bolt and is detected by the magnetic sensor.
