    摘要: An actuator for a wheel anti-lock system, which comprises a first conduit connected to a brake master cylinder and a second conduit connected to a brake wheel cylinder. To the second conduit, there is connected a reservoir for reserving a predetermined amount of working liquid. Between the first conduit and the second conduit, there is interposed a feed change-over valve for opening or closing the communication between them. Between the second conduit and the reservoir, there is interposed a release change-over valve for opening or closing the communication between them. In the first conduit, there is disposed a normally open cut valve for closing the first conduit when in a skid control. To the first conduit, there is connected a pressure transducer in parallel with the cut valve. The pressure transducer includes: a body having a smaller bore connected to the brake master cylinder and a larger bore connected to the brake wheel cylinder; a stepped piston fitted in the two bores; and a spring for biasing the stepped piston toward the smaller portion thereof. When in the skid control, the pressure transducer feeds the second conduit with a pressure liquid, a predetermined amount larger than the pressure liquid which is fed from the 2 master cylinder, to the pressure transducer.

    摘要: A hydraulic anti-skid apparatus which includes a cut-off valve disposed within a braking circuit connecting a master cylinder to a wheel brake cylinder, a bypass valve disposed within a bypass passage of the braking circuit, first and second pistons respectively arranged to control opening and closing operations of the cut-off valve and the bypass valve, the first and second pistons each being arranged to be applied at one end thereof with a hydraulic braking pressure from the master cylinder and at the other end thereof with a hydraulic power pressure from a fluid pump, a solenoid valve arranged to apply the power pressure to the first piston in its deactivated condition and to connect the first piston to a fluid reservoir in its activated condition, and a regulator valve arranged to control the power pressure applied to the first and second pistons in accordance with the braking pressure applied thereto. The regulator valve is arranged acts to cooperate with a check valve in response to the braking pressure thereby to produce a hydraulic pressure at a higher value than the braking pressure. An orifice element is further arranged to throttle the flow of pressurized fluid supplied to the first piston through the regulator and solenoid valves to maintain the power pressure acting on the second piston.

    摘要: A fuel cell system 100 includes a fuel cell 10, a cathode gas supply system 30, a supply valve 34, an exhaust valve 43 and a controller 20. The fuel cell 10 has a supply manifold M1, an exhaust manifold M2, and a power generation area GA connected with these manifolds M1 and M2. The cathode gas supply system 30 causes a gas to be flowed into the supply manifold M1. The supply valve 34 is operable to seal the supply manifold M1, whereas the exhaust valve 43 is operable to seal the exhaust manifold M2. The controller 20 closes the supply valve 34 and the exhaust valve 43 after operation stop of the fuel cell 10 to seal the fuel cell 10 under a specified pressure and then waits for a predefined time. The controller 20 subsequently opens the supply valve 34 to move water remaining in the power generation area GA on the flow of the gas toward outside of the power generation area GA.

    摘要: A fuel cell is disclosed comprising: a power generation layer including an electrolyte membrane, and an anode and a cathode provided on respective surfaces of the electrolyte membrane; a fuel gas flow path layer located on a side of the anode of the power generation layer to supply a fuel gas to the anode while flowing the fuel gas along a flow direction of the fuel gas approximately orthogonal to a stacking direction in which respective layers of the fuel cell are stacked; and an oxidizing gas flow path layer located on a side of the cathode of the power generation layer to supply an oxidizing gas to the cathode while flowing the oxidizing gas along a flow direction of the oxidizing gas opposed to the flow direction of the fuel gas. A power generation area of the fuel cell, in which electric power is generated, has an upstream region including a most upstream position along the flow direction of the fuel gas and a downstream region including a most downstream position along the flow direction of the fuel gas. A midstream region, which is a remaining region of the power generation area other than the upstream region and the downstream region, has higher water vapor transfer resistance between the anode side and the cathode side than the upstream region and the downstream region.

    摘要: A torque converter includes a pump shell constituting an internal space for retaining ATF and capable of rotating about the rotation axis; a blade engaging with the pump shell; and an extension sleeve pressing the blade against the pump shell. The pump shell has a groove into which a tip portion of the blade is fit formed at its inner peripheral surface. In the state where the tip portion is fit into the groove, the extension sleeve presses the blade to fix the blade to the pump shell. The groove forms an acute angle θ with respect to a meridian of the shell passing through the groove. The groove extends in one direction, has one end opened and the other end closed, and has a width larger on the side of the one end than on the side of the other end. The groove has a portion smallest in width equal to the width of the tip portion.
