    摘要: Fans having fan blade mounting structures are disclosed herein. A fan configured in accordance with one embodiment of the present technology includes a fan having a central hub coupled to a plurality of fan blades by a plurality of blade mounting structures. Each blade mounting structure can include first and lower support members that each extend toward an inboard end portion of an individual fan blade. Each of the upper and lower support members can include a first end portion coupled to the inboard end portion of the fan blade. Each of the upper and lower support members can also include a second end portion coupled to opposite sides of the central hub.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a turbine engine fan casing includes placing a fiber structure constituting the fiber reinforcement of a composite material inside skin of an acoustic coating on a tooling element, and then shaping the fiber preform constituting the fiber reinforcement of an abradable casing on the tooling element with cellular structures of acoustic coating and abradable coating cartridges, if any, being interposed. Both the fiber preform of the casing as impregnated by a precursor resin for the matrix of the composite material of the casing, and also the fiber structure of the inside skin of the acoustic coating as impregnated with a precursor resin for the matrix of the composite material of the inside skin are subjected to resin polymerizing heat treatment, and the inside skin of the acoustic coating is multiply perforated so an assembly is obtained that comprises the casing with an incorporated acoustic coating.

    摘要: An axial turbine for a tidal power plant, including a hub with a rotor blade holder and a rotor blade with a blade fastening section having a longitudinal axis including a fastening stub, a radial fixing and an anti-rotation element. The fastening stub includes a contact surface supported against a complementarily shaped fixing surface on the rotor blade holder whose envelope is rotationally symmetrical to the longitudinal axis. The radial fixing secures the rotor blade fastening section against a withdrawal movement relative to the rotor blade holder in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The anti-rotation element is connected with a complementarily shaped rotational stop on the rotor blade holder with an effective area of the anti-rotation element being a component of the blade fastening section arranged separate from the radial fixing, and the radial fixing comprises fastening means that has a predetermined breaking point of the blade fastening section.

The GSE may comprise GSE supports and lifting components attached to the pylon, two suspension rails attached to the lifting components, two translating rails translatably attached to the two suspensions rails and fixedly attached to opposite sides of the engine core, and two alignment fittings fixed to the engine fan module. The method of using the GSE may comprise lifting the engine core vertically using the lifting components and anchoring the suspension rails to the alignment fittings. The translating rails and engine core may then be translated in an aft-to-forward direction such that portions of the translating rails engage portions of the alignment fittings to cooperatively guide the translating rails into a final forward position in which the engine core is aligned relative to the engine fan module.
