摘要: A paper cassette used in a printer for holding sheets of paper. The cassette comprises a case holding sheets of paper and corner claws mounted at both sides of the front end of this case. The claws engage the front ends of the corners of the uppermost sheet of paper. The claws have front walls which are inclined upwardly toward the direction in which the uppermost sheet is fed. The front walls are also inclined from the front end of the uppermost toward the direction in which the walls are distant from the front end of the sheet by slow degrees toward the inside of the widthwise of the sheet. When the uppermost sheet is curled, the corners of the front end of the sheet are disengaged from the corner claws certainly.

摘要: A motor control device carries cut feedback control of a motor such that the rotational speed of the motor is equal to the command speed. A control voltage is first calculated as the sum of a first constant times the difference between the command speed and the actual rotational speed, a second constant times the actual rotational speed and a predetermined offset value. The calculated control voltage is corrected on the basis of the phase difference between the command speed and the actual rotational speed and a voltage after the correction is outputted as a motor control voltage. The rotational speed of the motor can be caused to rapidly follow the target speed by adjusting the first and second constants and the offset value whether the command speed is relatively low or high, thereby to make it possible to control the motor at a constant speed.

摘要: Provided is an image processing apparatus sequentially performing image processing on multiple pieces of band data composing image data. The image processing apparatus includes a RAM and a JPEG encoding circuit. The RAM has a buffer area of a fixed length. The JPEG encoding circuit sequentially performs variable-length encoding on multiple pieces of band data, sequentially writes the band data subjected to the encoding from the beginning of the buffer area, and writes subsequent band data subjected to the encoding from the beginning of the buffer area if the end of the band data subjected to the encoding is positioned in a boundary area having a certain length including an ending part of the buffer area.

摘要: An image processing device includes a first encoding processing portion to perform first encoding processing according to a first compression method for compressing multilevel image data and a second encoding processing portion to perform second encoding processing according to a second compression method for compressing binary image data. A determination portion determines whether an image made up of acquired image data is a monochrome image. A data volume estimating portion makes an estimation between a first data volume when image data forming the monochrome image is compressed by the first encoding processing and a second data volume when the image data is compressed by the second encoding processing as to which data volume becomes smaller. A file creating portion creates a data file from image data that has the smaller volume.
