摘要: A structure for holding lenses in which they are inserted into a lens frame in an axial direction thereof for their mounting thereon, and in which a lens that is first inserted into the lens frame is fixed thereto by caulking a part of the lens frame against the lens, so that an enlargement in a radial direction of the lens frame is prevented. The lens frame has three through-holes in a circumferential direction with an equal space therebetween in which the through-holes form around an intermediate position thereof relative to the axial direction, a stepped surface on a first end opposite a second end from which the lens is inserted, and a partial caulking projection which forms inside each hole as a part of the lens frame. After the first lens is inserted from the second end into the lens frame, the partial caulking projection is thermally caulked against a periphery, of the lens, which is downstream relative to the direction in which the lens is inserted, so that the first lens is held between the stepped surface and the partial caulking projection.

摘要: An apparatus for driving a collapsible lens mount having several telescoping segments includes, for each movable segment, a transducer that expands and contracts responsive to a wave pulse and a drive shaft coupled to the transducer. By varying the wave pulse conditions, the expansion and contraction are made to occur at different rates. A coupling member on each segment frictionally engages the drive shaft and transmits movement of the drive shaft during relatively slow drive shaft movements to the lens segment. The apparatus may also include a lens hood driven by the transducer and drive shaft apparatus of the invention.

摘要: A motor driving circuit includes a wiring pattern formed in a circuit board, which is configured such that electrical current flowing into a motor flows through the wiring pattern; and a current measurement circuit configured to measure an amount of electrical current flowing through the wiring pattern, based on an amount of voltage drop occurring in response to flowing of the electrical current. The motor driving circuit includes a drive unit configured to adjust a current measurement value measured by the current measurement circuit, based on first adjustment data that compensates for variation in resistance of the wiring pattern caused by an individual difference in the circuit board, and to drive the motor based on an adjusted current value which is the adjusted current measurement value.

摘要: In the printing system, an image captured by a digital camera is recorded in a memory card, and is transmitted to a printer through the memory card. The printer prints the captured image in the inserted memory card. The number of prints of the captured image is set by a predetermined operation in the digital camera. This setting information is stored in the memory card, and the printer prints on the basis of the set information. In the case of trial use at a shop counter, a memory card for trial use is used. The printer is set to a “trial use mode” when the inserted memory card is for trial use, and limits the actual number of prints of the captured image to two or less. As a result, mass printing by trial use can be prevented, and the printing system can give easy trial use to customers.

摘要: A taking lens device has a zoom lens system, including a plurality of lens units, for forming an optical image of an object with variable magnification achieved by varying the distances between the lens units, and an image sensor for converting the optical image formed by the zoom lens system into an electric signal. The zoom lens system includes, from the object side to the image side a first lens unit that has a negative optical power, that is composed solely of a single negative lens element having a sharper curvature on the image side than on the object side thereof, and that is moved along the optical axis during zooming, and a second lens unit that is disposed with an aerial distance secured between itself and the first lens unit, that has a positive optical power, and that is moved along the optical axis during zooming. Moreover, the following conditional formulae are fulfilled: 0.3

摘要: A zoom lens system has from an object side a first lens group of a positive refractive power, a second lens group of a positive refractive power and a third lens group of a negative refractive power. The second lens group has from the object side a lens unit and a positive lens element convex to the object side. Focusing for a close object is performed by moving the lens unit toward the object side. In the zoom lens, the following condition is fulfilled: ##EQU1## where r1 is a radius of curvature of an object side surface of the positive lens element and r2 is a radius of curvature of an image side surface of the positive lens element.

摘要: A zoom lens system includes a positive lens unit and a negative lens unit. Focusing in a focal length range from a shortest focal length condition to a middle focal length condition is performed by moving the positive lens unit, and focusing in a focal length range from the middle focal length condition to a longest focal length condition is performed by moving the negative lens unit. The zoom lens system fulfills the following condition: ##EQU1## where B.sub.f is a distance from a rear end surface of the zoom lens system to a film at the shortest focal length condition and .DELTA.t is a diagonal length of the film.
