Abstract: A method for improving service reliability includes deciding, by a session function entity in a network, to initiate establishment of at least two transmission paths between a terminal and the user plane function entity, and instructing the terminal or the user plane function entity to transmit same data on the at least two paths. The user plane function allocates, based on a notification of the session function entity, user plane resources to the at least two transmission paths, and transmits the same data with the terminal on the at least two transmission paths. A core network initiates the establishment of the at least two transmission paths to the terminal. Two access devices may independently establish the at least two transmission paths.

A GW-U is configured to receive a data packet and match the data packet with a rule, and send bearer processing indication information to a GW-C if a rule matching result of the data packet meets a trigger condition for bearer processing, where the bearer processing indication information is used to trigger the GW-C to perform bearer processing according to quality of service QoS information of a data service corresponding to the data packet. The GW-C is configured to receive the bearer processing indication information from the GW-U, determine, according to the bearer processing indication information, the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet, and perform bearer processing according to the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet.

The QoS guarantee information is to be used by the user plane gateway for QoS marking.

Abstract: An uplink information sending method and apparatus is provided. The method includes obtaining, by user equipment, downlink control information DCI and downlink data, the DCI carries a portion of uplink scheduling information of the user equipment, the uplink information is used to indicate whether the user equipment receives the downlink data correctly, the portion of the uplink scheduling information is specifically indication information excluding a specific parameter of the user equipment, and the specific parameter includes at least one of an uplink modulation and coding scheme MCS or information used to indicate duration for sending the uplink information. The method also includes sending, by the user equipment, the uplink information according to the portion of the uplink scheduling information and the specific parameter, where the specific parameter is a parameter preset in the user equipment or a parameter received by the user equipment from a system message.
