Abstract: A client device and a corresponding method for detecting and indicating that a Quality-of-Service (QoS) estimate for a radio link serving an application does not fulfill a QoS requirement associated with the application is provided. The client device monitors QoS estimates for a radio link serving an application in the physical layer. The monitoring is based on a QoS monitoring configuration associated with the application. Upon detecting that a QoS estimate does not fulfill a QoS requirement obtained from the QoS monitoring configuration, the client device provides a first indication to a second layer arranged above the physical layer. The first indication provides an early warning that the radio link does not fulfill the QoS requirement. According to the application, the client device is allowed to take precautionary actions to counteract possible negative consequences of the non-fulfillment of the QoS requirement.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a network access node and a client device for content type indication. The network access node selects a subset of bits among a set of bits in a second data packet associated with the first data packet based on the content type for the first data packet. The network access node scrambles the selected subset of bits with a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device. The network access node transmits the first data packet and the second data packet to the client device (300). Upon reception of the first data packet and the second data packet, the client device descrambles the scrambled subset of bits in the second data packet using a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device to determine the content type for the first data packet.

Abstract: The application relates to methods and devices for use in a receiver circuit (200) configured to receive data in transport blocks where each transport block comprises a set of individually decodable code blocks is provided. The receiver circuit comprises a decoder (102) for decoding the received data and at least one on-chip FIFO memory (210). The receiver circuit also comprises a Layer 2 decipher unit (104), and a buffer memory (106). In the receiver circuit, a controller (220) is provided. The decoder is configured to store a correctly decoded code block in the at least one on-chip FIFO memory, and when a code block of a transport block is incorrectly decoded, store any subsequent correctly decoded code block of the same transport block in the buffer memory. Hereby an efficient receiver circuit that can be implemented using a small on-chip memory is provided.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to early detection and indication of a Quality-of-Service (QoS) non-fulfillment in one or more radio links serving an application. A client device monitors for a QoS non-fulfillment in the one or more radio links based on a QoS monitoring configuration associated with the application. The QoS monitoring configuration may be received from a network node and/or derived based on a predefined rule. Upon detection of a QoS non-fulfillment of one or more QoS requirements obtained from the QoS monitoring configuration, the client device provides a QoS non-fulfillment indication to the application. The QoS non-fulfillment indication gives the application an early warning about QoS non-fulfillment on the one or more radio links. Thereby, allowing the application to take precautionary actions to counteract possible negative consequences of the QoS non-fulfillment. Furthermore, the disclosure also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.
