    Abstract: A network device for locating performing following operations: determining a base station set and an auxiliary UE set that participate in locating of to-be-located target UE; receiving from the to-be-located target UE, a first RSTD set of positioning reference signals PRSs sent by any two base stations in the base station set to the to-be-located target UE, and a second RSTD set of a PRS sent by any auxiliary UE in the auxiliary UE set to the to-be-located target UE and a PRS sent by a reference base station in the base station set to the to-be-located target UE; and determining location information of the plurality of to-be-located UEs based on the first RSTD set, the second RSTD set, and location information of base stations included in the base station set. Locating accuracy and flexibility can be improved.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a terminal device and a positioning system, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The terminal device is configured to: obtain identifiers of at least two antenna elements and attribute information of a reference signal corresponding to each of the at least two antenna elements; receive at least two reference signals based on the attribute information, where the at least two reference signals are sent by corresponding antenna elements of the at least two antenna elements, respectively; obtain positioning information; and send, to the network device, the positioning information and identification information of antenna elements corresponding to the positioning information. Positioning signals obtained by different antenna elements are different, so that the terminal device can identify which antenna element a received positioning signal comes from. Therefore, an improved distributed antenna system can implement terminal device positioning, and improve indoor positioning accuracy.

    Abstract: A data demodulation method, apparatus, and system are presented. The method includes obtaining notification information indicating that user equipment (UE) is in a high-speed moving state; performing time-frequency synchronization processing on first downlink data according to the notification information to obtain second downlink data; and performing demodulation processing on the second downlink data to obtain third downlink data, where in the demodulation processing, inter-transmission time intervals (TTIs) filtering for a channel estimation is not performed, or a filtering coefficient as a weight of a current TTI for a channel estimation is greater than a filtering coefficient as a weight of a TTI that is at the time when the UE is in the non-high-speed moving state for a channel estimation. The demodulation method is applicable to a high-speed scenario for improving a downlink data throughput of the UE.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a positioning method and device, so as to resolve a prior-art problem of relatively low positioning precision caused by a relatively long message transmission delay. A specific solution is as follows: A positioning controller: sends, to a user device, a message that carries positioning auxiliary information including an identifier of a first base station and an identifier of at least one second base station; receives a message that carries a positioning measurement result; obtains location information of the first base station and location information of the at least one second base station; and determines location information of the user device according to the positioning measurement result, the location information of the first base station, and the location information of the at least one second base station.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a signal determining method and an apparatus, so as to resolve a problem, in a conventional positioning method, that a signal receiving device cannot accurately determine whether a received signal is an aggregated reference signal, and consequently, positioning fails due to a relatively large error of location information obtained by means of positioning. The method is as follows: A signal receiving device may estimate, according to a TAE between at least two subcarriers used by a signal sending device to transmit a reference signal and a reference signal sent by the signal sending device on each subcarrier, an aggregated reference signal that is sent by the signal sending device and that is obtained after carrier aggregation. After receiving a signal, the signal receiving device determines whether the signal is an aggregated reference signal sent by the signal sending device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a positioning method based on a time difference of arrival, user equipment, and a network device. The method includes: calculating, by user equipment, a first time difference of arrival RSTD1 based on positioning signals sent by a first base station and a second base station at a same moment; calculating a second time difference of arrival RSTD2 based on known location information of the user equipment; calculating a time alignment error TAE based on the RSTD1 and the RSTD2; and performing, based on the TAE, positioning based on a time difference of arrival TDOA. According to this method, the TAE caused by the base stations is subtracted during positioning calculation. In other words, the time alignment error caused by the base stations is eliminated. Therefore, accuracy of TDOA-based positioning can be ensured.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling power of a carrier signal, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, power control parameters, sent by at least one base station, of at least two carrier signals, where the at least two carrier signals are signals sent on at least two aggregation carriers; determining, by the user equipment according to the power control parameters, channel gain reference quantities corresponding to the at least two carrier signals, where the channel gain reference quantities are used to represent a magnitude of a channel gain; and controlling, by the user equipment, power of the at least two carrier signals according to the channel gain reference quantities. According to the technical solutions of the present invention, a power resource of user equipment can be effectively utilized, and network performance can be improved.
