    Abstract: A method includes generating a preamble for a protocol version of a wireless local area network, where the preamble includes a legacy signal (L-SIG) field and a high efficiency signal (HE-SIG) field that are arranged in order, the HE-SIG field includes a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbol and a second OFDM symbol that are arranged in order, and an input information bit of the first OFDM symbol is the same as that of the second OFDM symbol, and sending the preamble to a receive end device, so that the receive end device restores the preamble, and when determining that input information bits obtained after restoring the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol are the same, determines that the preamble is the preamble of the protocol version.

    Abstract: A method and system for LBT or CCA threshold setting for directional reception and transmission are provided. In an embodiment, a method in a wireless device for determining if a channel is clear in an unlicensed band channel in a wireless network includes detecting, with the wireless device, an energy along a first beamforming direction. The method also includes determining, with the wireless device, an energy detection threshold. The method also includes determining, with the wireless device, whether the unlicensed band channel is clear in at least the first receiving direction according to the energy and the energy detection threshold.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an extended range SU mode PPDU transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: generating an extended range SU mode PPDU, wherein a legacy preamble part in the extended range SU mode PPDU is transmitted by using a bandwidth of 20 MHz, a data part in the extended range SU mode PPDU is transmitted by using a narrowband, and a bandwidth in the narrowband transmission comprises at least one of the following parameters: a 26-tone RU, a 52-tone RU, a 106-tone RU, or a 242-tone RU; and sending the extended range SU mode PPDU. By applying the method and the apparatus in the embodiments of the present invention, transmission reliability of the data part is improved, performance of parts in the PPDU in an EXT SU mode is more balanced, and a coverage area of long-distance transmission is ensured.

    Abstract: A method for dynamically dividing or consolidating sub-bands in-between Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) status measurements upon detection of a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition is provided. The method includes determining at least a single CCA status for at least a single sub-band during a first period, and detecting a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition for dividing the single sub-band into two or more separate sub-bands, where a combination of the two or more separate sub-bands occupies the same frequency band as the single sub-band. The method also includes determining a separate CCA status for each of the two or more separate sub-bands during a second period. An apparatus for performing this method is also provided.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a data transmission method and apparatus. A first access point determines a current working uplink receiving beam, and broadcasts an identifier of the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, so that when a first station associated with the first access point determines, according to the identifier of the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, that a first transmitting beam at which the first station is currently working is the current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point, the first station performs data transmission with the first access point by using the first transmitting beam. The current working uplink receiving beam of the first access point and a current working uplink receiving beam of a second access point do not overlap in space.
