Abstract:
The subject invention comprises a hydrocarbon-conversion process using a zeolitic catalyst comprising very low concentrations of non-zeolitic material and featuring a gradient in crystallinity decreasing from the outer portion to the center and an intrusion pore volume of at least 0.6 cc/gram. The catalyst is particularly effective in a xylene-isomerization process comprising ethylbenzene conversion.
Abstract:
A high-speed serial data transceiver includes multiple receivers and transmitters for receiving and transmitting multiple analog, serial data signals at multi-gigabit-per-second data rates. Each receiver includes a timing recovery system for tracking a phase and a frequency of the serial data signal associated with the receiver. The timing recovery system includes a phase interpolator responsive to phase control signals and a set of reference signals having different predetermined phases. The phase interpolator derives a sampling signal, having an interpolated phase, to sample the serial data signal. The timing recovery system in each receiver independently phase-aligns and frequency synchronizes the sampling signal to the serial data signal associated with the receiver. A receiver can include multiple paths for sampling a received, serial data signal in accordance with multiple time-staggered sampling signals, each having an interpolated phase.
Abstract:
Circuits and methods are provided for adjusting a frequency of a local clock signal in approximating a frequency of a host clock signal. A phase locked loop generates a local clock signal having a first phase and a first frequency. An offset adjustment circuit receives timing information relating the local clock signal to an incoming data signal and calculates a phase offset and a frequency offset indicative of adjustments to be made to the local clock signal. A first phase interpolator generates a receive clock signal from the local clock signal, the receive clock signal having a second phase and a second frequency responsive to the phase and frequency offsets. A second phase interpolator generates a transmit clock signal from the local clock signal having a third frequency responsive to the frequency offset.
Abstract:
Methods and software products for analysis of alternative splicing are disclosed. In general the methods involve normalizing probe set or exon intensity to an expression level measurement of the gene. The methods may be used to identify tissue-specific alternative splicing events.
Abstract:
An input correction system based on translation search and the method thereof are provided. The invention searches a translation word according to a search message. When the translation word does not exist, the search message is compared with all similar messages in order to locate a matched word message. The word message is then taken as the search message to search the translation word again. The mechanism improves the convenience in searching for translation words.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an thermal management system for an electric vehicle, comprising a heat generating component cooling device and a heat pump device, wherein the heat pump device comprises a compressor, a first heat exchanger, a throttling element and a second heat exchanger which are connected through pipelines and form a loop; the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are both dual channel exchanger, two channels of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are sealed and isolated respectively, first channels of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger communicate with other components of the heat pump device through pipelines; the heat generating component cooling device communicates with second channels of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger respectively to form loops which can be closed, and the two loops formed by the heat generating component cooling device with the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger respectively can be open alternatively. The thermal management system of the present invention can ensure full use of the heat from heat generating components in the electric vehicle and improve the cooling effect of the heat generating components and the comfort of the cabin.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a handover technology between an unlicensed mobile access network and a cellular communication network. According to a first aspect of the present invention, a method of handing over a communication connection from an unlicensed mobile access network to a cellular communication network in a mobile terminal is provided. The method includes the following steps: acquiring a location information and/or moving direction and/or moving velocity of the mobile terminal (301); determining a handover timing or a handover probability of the handover at least partly according to the location information, moving direction and moving velocity (302); initiating the communication connection between the mobile terminal and the cellular communication network for handover preparation when the handover timing is less than a predetermined value or the handover probability is more than a predetermined value (303); executing the handover (304). By using the method, device and apparatus of the present invention in combination with the positioning-related information of the mobile terminal, handover between an unlicensed mobile access network and a cellular communication network is performed, and thus the handover reliability is improved.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention disclose a backplane and backplane system. The backplane includes at least two service slots with the same function and an exchange slot. Among the pins of different service slots with the same function respectively connected to the exchange slot, at least two pins are arranged to resemble a stepped form. When arranged in this manner, the distribution and orientation of the connection lines connecting the pins of the service slots with the same function to the exchange slot may be adjusted, and wiring density within a single wiring layer may be increased, which therefore enables the connection lines between the service slots and the exchange slot to be staggered from each other in less wiring layers or even one wiring layer, and as a result, decreases the number of the wiring layers to be used, and reduces the costs of the backplane.
Abstract:
The invention relates to methods for treating samples of RNA. In an embodiment the method includes contacting the sample of RNA with an analogous DNA set to provide a DNA/RNA duplex. The analogous DNA set includes at least one sequence analogous to a small RNA. The method includes contacting the DNA/RNA duplex with an enzyme having a DNA:RNA nuclease activity to provide a digested RNA sample. Kits in accordance with the invention are also described.
