    摘要: The invention relates to a method and a control unit for operating a hydraulic injection valve, which comprises at least one piezoelectric actuator (2), a displaceable component (3) and a hydraulic element (9) such as bearing or a transmission system. The use of a drive voltage (U) modifies the length of an actuator (2), which makes it possible to control the stroke of the displaceable component (a valve needle 3). The inventive control unit (10) produces a polarizing voltage (UB) which pre-stresses the actuator (2) and whose polarization direction is opposite to the polarization direction of said actuator (2). Said invention makes it possible to obtain the greater modification of the length when the actuator (2) operates in the polarization direction than the drive voltage starts at 0 volts, as it was in practice before. Said invention makes it possible to reduce energy consumption.

    摘要: A metering device has an actuating unit within a housing in which an actuator is inserted and a hydraulic compensating element. The hydraulic compensating element is connected to the actuator and can be filled with a fluid when subjected to pressure. A first end of the actuator is provided with a first end cap. The metering device further has a stop that is disposed on the housing in the form of a seat, faces the first end cap, and defines a stopping position for the first end cap. The stop maintains a maximum distance between a sealing element and the end cap, the distance being smaller than the actuator traveling distance such that the actuator stroke beyond the end cap is sufficient for opening the valve. The first end cap hits the stop when moving in the direction of the hydraulic compensating element such that the movement is blocked.

    摘要: A metering device has an actuating unit within a housing in which an actuator is inserted and a hydraulic compensating element.     摘要: A hydrocarbon reformer comprising a plurality of sequential reforming stages. The first stage has relatively low catalytic activity to minimize heat buildup in exothermic catalysis, which may be achieved by having a short residence time and/or relatively low catalytic capability, such that not all of the fuel and air passing through the first stage is catalyzed, thereby preventing thermal excess in the first stage and consequent bed erosion. Exothermic combustion near the front edge of the reformer produces water and carbon dioxide, but little hydrogen, while consuming some of the hydrocarbon and oxygen. Endothermic reactions in the following stages produce hydrogen and carbon monoxide while consuming the remaining hydrocarbon fuel and oxygen in a combination of steam- and dry-reforming processes. In each succeeding stage, the catalytic capability is increased as are the length of the stage and residence time of the reactants.

    摘要: A static mixer including first, second, and third chambers arranged in flow sequence. Nozzles extend from the first chamber through the second chamber to matching orifices in a wall between the second and third chambers. A first fluid to be is forced through the nozzles, and a second fluid is entered into the second chamber. As the first fluid exits the nozzles, a Bernoulli aspiration effect is created at the nozzle outlet, entraining second fluid from the second chamber. The fluids are turbulently mixed, providing a homogeneous fluid mixture in the third chamber. Fluid pressure in the second chamber may be less than the pressure in either the first or third chambers. The mixer is especially useful in a solid oxide fuel cell system. A plurality of small individual Bernoulli aspirators may be packaged in a small mixer housing, providing excellent mixing with little pressure drop through the apparatus.
