Abstract:
A slide assembly includes a first slide (10), a second slide (20) slidably attached to the first slide, and a third slide (30) incorporated with a releasing member (50) slidably attached to the second slide. The first slide includes a stop (14) and a block (16). The second slide has a stop piece (28) and a slot (26) for movably receiving a retention pin (40). When the first, second, and third slides are in a fully extended state, the retention pin and the stop piece are resisted by the stop and the block of the first slide respectively, thereby restraining sliding movement between the second slide and the first slide; when the third slide is retracted from the fully extended state to a semi-extended state, the retention pin is lifted by the releasing member and disengaged from the stop, thereby allowing the second slide to retract into the first slide.
Abstract:
A modem includes a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) module, a point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) module, and a network monitor module. The DHCP module automatically establishes a DHCP connection over a communication network, and generates a first notification signal after the DHCP connection is established. The PPPoE module automatically establishes a PPPoE connection over the communication network and automatically configures parameters of an Internet access service over the communication network and generates a second notification signal after the PPPoE connection is established. The network monitor module determines current network properties of the communication network upon receipt of the first notification signal and/or the second notification signal, and selectively configures parameters of the Internet access service and a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) service.
Abstract:
A slide assembly for slidably mounts a server unit (100) to a rack (200), said slide assembly includes an inner slide (110), an outer slide (150) and a locking device (130). The inner slide has an inner side (111). A locking device disposed on the inner side of the inner slide at a distal end thereof, the locking device includes a spring (133), a locking member (135), and a base (131), the base has a receiving opening (1315), the locking member being held within the base and resiliently protruding out from the receiving opening by support of the spring. An outer slide slidably attached to the inner side of the inner slide, the outer slide defines an engaging opening (153) at a distal end corresponding to the locking member, the locking member in alignment with the engaging opening to limit a back and forth longitudinal movement of the inner slide.
Abstract:
Technologies are described herein for correcting the layout of shapes in a diagram. A request is received to correct the diagram layout. The positional relationships between the shapes in the diagram are determined through the creation of a dependency tree. According to various embodiments, the dependency tree defines parent-child relationships within the diagram and the physical position of shapes with respect to one another. Using the dependency tree and layout rules, the shapes within the diagram may be repositioned to correct misalignment and uneven spacing to make minor corrections in the layout while preserving the general configuration of the original layout. Embodiments provide for layout corrections of diagrams including regions that encompass member shapes and provide for conflict resolution when layout corrective actions result in overlaps of shapes, regions, or page breaks.
Abstract:
A system includes a data store and a server in communication with the data store. The server includes formatting modules having a plurality of formatters, validation modules having a plurality of validators, and a streaming module. The server is configured to receive messages containing financial transaction data from one or more electronic communication networks or one or more client devices. The formatters are configured for each of the electronic communication networks or client devices and convert the messages into an internal format of the streaming system. The validation modules are configured to perform a validation check on the one or more formatted messages.
Abstract:
The invention includes an article for use in preparing a visual presentation having a paper or paper display item with ruled lines pre-printed thereon, and a reducing fluid source. The user can apply the reducing fluid from the reducing fluid source to the ruled lines to chemically reduce the ruled lines on at least a portion of the paper or paper display item to thereby render that portion free of visual ruled lines. Also included is a method of preparing a visual presentation comprising providing a paper or paper display item having ruled lines pre-printed thereon, writing on the paper or paper display using the pre-printed lines for guidance, and applying a reducing fluid to the lines to render the ruled lines substantially invisible without rendering invisible the writing disposed on the paper or paper display.
Abstract:
A no-mess water-based ink including a composition including water, an organic solvent, a coloring agent dissolved in the organic solvent and an emulsifier for use in conjunction with a specially treated substrate containing a color developer.
Abstract:
A moldable composition comprising a polar polymeric resin, present in an amount ranging from 0.5-15% by weight, a filler, present in an amount up to 50% by weight, a thickening agent, present in an amount ranging from 0.1-3% by weight, a humectant, present in an amount up to 30% by weight, and water, present in an amount ranging from 20-70% by weight. Also provided is a method of making the composition as described.
Abstract:
An empirical diffraction based overlay (eDBO) measurement of an overlay error is produced using diffraction signals from a plurality of diffraction based alignment pads from an alignment target. The linearity of the overlay error is tested using the same diffraction signals or a different set of diffraction signals from diffraction based alignment pads. Wavelengths that do not have a linear response to overlay error may be excluded from the measurement error.
Abstract:
The invention discloses marine Streptomyces sp., a Pyranosesquiterpene compound, as well as a preparation method and uses thereof. Streptomyces sp. SCSIO 01689 was collected in China Center for Type Culture Collection (CCTCC) (Address: Wuhan University, Wuhan City, China) with the collection number of CCTCC NO: M 2011257 on Jul. 18, 2011. The Streptomyces sp. SCSIO 01689 can produce the Pyranosesquiterpene compound with better anti-Escherichia coli activity and anti-Artemia activity, as well as Cyclo(D)-Pro-(D)-Ile, Cyclo(D)-Pro-(D)-Leu and Cyclo(D)-trans-4-OH-Pro-(D)-Phe with better anti-Vibrio anguillarum activity and anti-Artemia activity, thereby providing a new way for preparing the Cyclo(D)-Pro-(D)-Ile, the Cyclo(D)-Pro-(D)-Leu and the Cyclo(D)-trans-4-OH-Pro-(D)-Phe. The Pyranosesquiterpene compound can be used for preparing anti-Escherichia coli medicaments and anti-Artemia medicaments, as well as preparing condiments as a condiment precursor compound.
