    摘要: Two piezoelectric ceramics are equal to each other in the polarization directions thereof. Two electrodes disposed on both surfaces of one of the piezoelectric ceramics are connected to an AC voltage source, while other two electrodes disposed on both surfaces of the other piezoelectric ceramic are connected to another AC voltage source having a phase 180° (2π) different from that of the AC voltage source. The two AC voltage sources are biased to a positive voltage side. Accordingly, the invention provides an electro-mechanical transducer capable of greatly increasing the displacement amount of the film thickness of the electromechanical transducer and of preventing the polarization loss of the electro-mechanical transducer.

    摘要: A primary object of the invention is to provide a production technology for functional polyamic acid microfine particles and functional polyimide microfine particles by which the particle shape, size and size distribution can be freely controlled. The invention is concerned with a process for synthesizing polyamic acid particles having functional groups at least on the surface from a tetracarboxylic anhydride and a diamine compound characterized by its comprising (a) a first step which comprises providing a tetracarboxylic anhydride and a diamine compound at least one of which has functional groups and preparing a first solution containing the tetracarboxylic anhydride and a second solution containing the diamine compound and (b) a second step which comprises mixing the first and second solutions under ultrasonic agitation to thereby precipitate polyamic acid microfine particles from the mixed solution. The invention is further concerned with a process which comprises imidating the above polyamic acid particles to provide polyimide microfine particles.

    摘要: The chain polyene-group containing norbornene compound of the invention is represented by the formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 5, R.sup.1 is an alkyl group of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 5 carbon atoms.The unsaturated ethylene copolymer of the invention is a random copolymer of 30 to 92% by mol of (i) ethylene units, 6 to 70% by mol of (ii) specific .alpha.-olefin units and 0.1 to 30% by mol of (iii) units derived from the norbornene compound [I], where the molar ratio of (i)/(ii) is in the range of 40/60 to 92/8 and the unit (iii) is represented by the specific formula, and has an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] of 0.05 to 10 dl/g.The novel unsaturated ethylene copolymer is excellent in weathering resistance, heat resistance and ozone resistance and has a high vulcanizing rate.

    摘要: A nonreciprocal circuit element includes a magnetic assembly including a ferrite magnetic body, a common electrode, and three central conductors; capacitors connecting to the respective central conductors; a permanent magnet which applies a DC bias magnetic field to the magnetic body; and a metal case which accommodates the magnetic assembly, the capacitors, and the permanent magnet, the metal case functioning as a magnetic yoke. The saturation magnetic flux density of at least a portion of the metal case and the residual magnetic flux density of the permanent magnet have negative temperature coefficients. Moreover, the portion of the metal case is composed of a magnetic material having a larger absolute value of the temperature coefficient of the saturation magnetic flux density than the absolute value of the temperature coefficient of the residual magnetic flux density of the permanent magnet in the range of −35° C. to +85° C.
