    摘要: A system for use in a wellbore having a plurality of well zones includes a tubing disposed in the wellbore; and a plurality of valves connected to the tubing, wherein each of the plurality of valves comprises at least one port for communication between the tubing and one of the plurality of well zones, wherein each of the plurality of valves further comprises a sleeve moveable by an actuating device between an open position, wherein the at least one port is open, and a closed position, wherein the at least one port is closed, wherein the actuating device comprises a head part and a tail part, the head part having a disk-like or partial spherical structure having a diameter slightly smaller than an internal diameter of the tubing and the tail part having at least one fin arranged substantially perpendicular to the disk-like or partial spherical structure.

    摘要: A technique is provided to facilitate perforation operations in a well. A well treatment operation is combined with a perforating operation to increase the efficiency of well preparation. A dart assembly has a dart for moving a well treatment fluid downhole and a perforating gun coupled to the dart. As the dart moves the well treatment fluid to a desired region of the well, the perforating gun is simultaneously moved to a desired location for perforation of the well.

    摘要: A perforating gun includes a base strip having an angular cross section, the base strip being a single unitary structure and essentially comprising at least two longitudinally disposed surfaces, a first surface and a second surface, a first plurality of capsule charges being connected to the first surface and a second plurality of capsule charges being connected to the second surface and interleaved with the first plurality of capsule charges, thereby phasing the capsule charges in the perforating gun. Since the gun utilizes capsule charges, good penetration into the formation is achieved. Due to the cross sectional configuration of the base strip, the phased capsule charges, when mounted on the strip, will easily fit within a tubing string previously used by non-phased capsule charge perforating guns. Since the base strip is a single, unitary structure, it is rugged enough to avoid shattering upon impact with an obstruction in a borehole, yet, due to its chemical and mechanical properties, will shatter in response to detonation of the capsule charges.

Cement can be pumped through a work string into a first annulus formed between a liner and a wall of the wellbore. One or more first contact valves in the liner can be opened with the work string. Fluid can flow through the work string and the one or more first contact valves to fracture a first zone. One or more second contact valves in the liner can be opened with the work string. Fluid can flow through the work string and the one or more second contact valves to fracture a second zone.

    摘要: A technique facilitates actuation of a downhole tool in a well string. The downhole tool may be actuated hydraulically via the controlled flow of a hydraulic fluid under pressure to the downhole tool through a port. Flow of the pressurized fluid through the port is controlled by a barrier member which may be opened by a plunger working in cooperation with the barrier member. Movement of the plunger is controlled by selectively increasing the pressure acting on the plunger through, for example, actuation of an expansion device or other suitable device.
