摘要： An apparatus and a method for handover in a broadband wireless communication system supporting a Mobile Relay Station (MRS) are provided. The method includes transmitting a Connection ID (CID) of Mobile Stations (MSs), the CIDs pre-allocated by a target BS, to the MSs; sending a resource allocation message comprising uplink resource allocation information for bandwidth request of the MSs, to the MSs; receiving a bandwidth request message which comprises security authentication information of each MS, from the MSs using an uplink resource allocated through the uplink resource allocation information; and aggregating bandwidth request messages of the MSs and sending a ranging request message comprising the security authentication information and bandwidth request information of the MSs to the target BS. Thus, the handover delay time, which is inevitable for the bandwidth request in the conventional connection set-up procedure, can be reduced, and the handover with the reliability guaranteed can be achieved by allowing the security related processing in the network re-entry procedure.

摘要： An operation method of the femto BS includes configuring a subframe set including at least two types of subframes among subframes having predefined different structures, and, if a duration of a subframe carrying the subframe set arrives, transmitting one of the subframes included in the subframe set according to predefined order. The subframes having the predefined different structures include a first type subframe including a synchronization signal and a Master Information Block (MIB), a second type subframe including the synchronization signal, a third type subframe including the synchronization signal and system information, a fourth type subframe including the synchronization signal, the MIB, and the system information, and a fifth type subframe including the system information.

摘要： Group handover method and apparatus in a broadband wireless communication system which supports a mobile relay station are provided. A method of a serving base station for group handover of the mobile relay station includes when receiving a measurement report message from a relay station, determining whether the relay station is a mobile relay station of a simple type which forwards a signal; collecting handover related information of the mobile relay station and mobile terminals belonging to the mobile relay station, from pre-stored information; requesting handover of the mobile relay station and the mobile terminals by transmitting the collected handover related information to a target base station; and receiving a message indicating whether the handover of the mobile relay station and the mobile terminals is approved, from the target base station.

摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving a Channel Quality Information (CQI) in a communication system are provided. A Mobile Station (MS) receives first information indicating a representative MS selected from a group of MSs located within a preset range and in similar channel statuses, the group including the MS, determines from the first information whether the MS is designated as the representative MS, and transmits a CQI of the MS as a representative CQI of the MSs included in the group to a Base Station (BS), if the MS is designated as the representative MS.

摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting an UpLink (UL) pilot using a scanning interval in a mobile communication system are provided. The method includes receiving a scanning response message including information on a UL pilot channel allocation mode from a serving Base Station (BS), measuring each DownLink (DL) channel state using DL signals of one or more neighboring BSs and transmitting a UL pilot to each of the one or more neighboring BSs in the UL pilot channel allocation mode, during a scanning duration. Accordingly, both UL and DL Quality of Service (QoS) may be considered during a handover operation.

摘要： A method is provided for providing a multicast service by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting an Nth data traffic corresponding to a multicast service to a plurality of mobile stations (MSs) through a multicast channel in an Fth frame; determining whether a Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) message indicating a failure to receive the Nth data traffic is received from at least one MS in an (F+1)th frame; and when the NACK message is received, retransmitting the Nth data traffic to an MS, which transmitted the NACK message, through an other channel different from the multicast channel in an (F+2)th frame.

摘要： A precoder and a precoding method in a multiuser multi-antenna system are provided. The precoder includes a channel checker for determining a DownLink (DL) channel condition of terminals in a service coverage area, a pre-compensator for pre-compensating, for channel distortion, signals to be sent to the terminals when a nonlinear algorithm is selected based on the channel condition of the terminals, and an interference remover for canceling interference in a channel by multiplying the pre-compensated signals by inverse channels of the terminals, and for canceling interference between the terminals. Accordingly, the pre-equalization can be carried out without global channel state information, and an increase of the transmit power can be prevented in the permutation.
