The method includes receiving a scanning response message including information on a UL pilot channel allocation mode from a serving Base Station (BS), measuring each DownLink (DL) channel state using DL signals of one or more neighboring BSs and transmitting a UL pilot to each of the one or more neighboring BSs in the UL pilot channel allocation mode, during a scanning duration. Accordingly, both UL and DL Quality of Service (QoS) may be considered during a handover operation.

The method includes transmitting an Nth data traffic corresponding to a multicast service to a plurality of mobile stations (MSs) through a multicast channel in an Fth frame; determining whether a Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) message indicating a failure to receive the Nth data traffic is received from at least one MS in an (F+1)th frame; and when the NACK message is received, retransmitting the Nth data traffic to an MS, which transmitted the NACK message, through an other channel different from the multicast channel in an (F+2)th frame.

    摘要: A method for synchronizing connection identifiers (CIDs) in a communication system includes sending a first message for requesting addition of a service flow identified by a CID; sending a second message and, at the same time, setting a number of a frame where the second message is transmitted as a first start frame number; sending a third message and, at the same time, setting a number of a frame where the third message is transmitted as a second start frame number; performing a modulo operation on a frame having the first or second start frame number and its succeeding frames using a positive integer for each frame, and detecting a number of a frame where a result value of the modulo operation becomes zero; and simultaneously updating CID lists at a frame having the detected frame number with regard to a CID of the added service flow.
