    摘要: The present invention is directed to an optical information recording medium for carrying out recording, readout and erasing with laser beams which comprises a support having carried thereon at least one of the compounds represented by the following general formulae (I), (II), (III) and (IV): ##STR1## wherein X and X' each represents an atomic group necessary for forming a carbon ring or an atomic group necessary for forming a specific heterocyclic ring; L.sup.1 mainly represents a methine group, or a group formed by linking 3 or 5 methine groups in turn to form conjugated double bonds; and Q and Q' each represents an atomic group whereby a conjugated double bond chain is completed; ##STR2## wherein L.sup.1 and Q are as defined in general formula (I); Z represents an atomic group necessary for forming a carbon ring or heterocyclic ring; R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 and E represent various substituents; and M represents an ion, etc.; ##STR3## in the above general formulae (III) and (IV), A represents an atomic group necessary for forming a pyridine, pyrimidine, pyrazine or triazine ring; and L.sup.2 represents a methine group, or a group formed by linking 3 or 5 methine groups in turn to form conjugated double bonds.Optical information recording media of the invention each have a high C/N and thus adequate recording characteristics, and have a high stability with respect to long-term preservation or long-time reading.These effects may further be enhanced by using a singlet oxygen quencher.

    摘要: There is provided a silver halide photographic material wherein a hydrophilic colloid layer is dyed with a new water-soluble dye that will not adversely affect the photographic characteristics of the silver halide emulsion layer. The silver halide photographic material exhibits excellent performance in that the dye is photochemically inactive such that not allow the sensitivity to lower, the latent image to fade, or the image to fog, and the decoloring or dissolving of the dye proceed rapidly in a photographic processing step, leaving no detrimental color on the processed photographic material.

    摘要: A process for forming color images, and a silver halide color photographic material for use in the process, are described, said process comprising processing with a developer containing hydroxylamine a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, said blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer being disposed at a more upper portion than other color-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, and said color photographic material further comprising (1) a light-insensitive layer containing at least one of a yellow colored magenta-dye-forming coupler and a yellow non-diffusible organic dye between the lowermost blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the uppermost layer of the other color-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, and (2) a light-insensitive silver halide emulsion in any layer above said light-insensitive layer.

    摘要: In color photographic sensitive materials comprising at least one direct reversal silver halide emulsion layer associated with a diffusible dye-releasing redox compound on a base, the improvement which comprises that at least one of a layer containing said redox compound or said direct reversal silver halide emulsion layer contains about 5 to 200 mg per 100 millimols silver in the emulsion layer of a compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group, P, Q and R which may be the same or different each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a heterocyclic group or an --S--Z.sup.2 group, Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 may be the same or different and each represents an unsaturated heterocyclic residue which is photographically inactive when bonded to the hydroquinone through the sulfur moiety, and --S--Z.sup.1 or --S--Z.sup.2 is an atomic group which when released by oxidation exhibits a development inhibiting function; at least one of P and Q is an alkylthio group or an arylthio group, and at least one of P, Q and R contains a ballast group.

    摘要: A processing method of a lithographic printing plate precursor includes: exposing imagewise a lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a support on a surface of which at least one of: a hydrophilizing treatment; and an undercoat layer has been provided and an image-recording layer, to cure an exposed area of the image-recording layer; and undergoing developing processing with an aqueous solution having pH of from 2 to 10, wherein the aqueous solution comprises an amphoteric surfactant and an anionic surfactant selected from an anionic surfactant having an aliphatic chain and a total number of carbon atoms included in the aliphatic chain of 6 or more and an anionic surfactant having an aromatic ring and a total number of carbon atoms of 12 or more, and a content of the anionic surfactant is from 0.1 to 3.3% by weight of the aqueous solution.
