摘要: A device includes a first substrate having a phosphor screen and a second substrate opposed to the first substrate across a gap and having a plurality of electron emission sources for exciting the phosphor screen. A spacer assembly for supporting an atmospheric load that acts on the first and second substrates is provided between the substrates. The spacer assembly has a plate-shaped grid and spacers set up on the grid. The volume resistance of the spacers is gradually reduced from the grid side toward the substrate side.

摘要: A modular segmented structural reinforcement system for use with closed forms or cavities defined with automotive vehicles having a plurality of modular segments designed to be secured within a defined portion of an automotive vehicle applications. An expandable or bonding material, such as an epoxy-based reinforcing foam or other sound absorption, damping, vibration reduction, or sealing material is disposed on at least a portion of the outer surface of each of the plurality of segments. Once the system is flexible fitted within the closed form or placed within a selected cavity of an automotive vehicle, the material expands and cures during an automobile assembly operation, bonding the reinforcement system to the segments. As a result, the reinforcement system provides enhanced load distribution over the vehicle frame without adding excessive weight and further serves to reduce noise and vibrational characteristics of the automotive vehicle.

摘要: A screen printing method and apparatus for printing a circuit pattern corresponding to that of a stencil (4), onto a print-object article (1) placed on an ascendable/descendable positioning stage (2), through moving a squeegee (5a,5b) horizontally while the squeegee is pushed in on the stencil so that print paste (9) is printed to the article via the stencil. The squeegee is lifted to an extent of a push-in stroke, to which the squeegee has been pushed in on the stencil, and thereafter the article is separated away from the stencil by moving the stage downward. The board is classified into first and second areas (121,120) where values of opening sizes of the stencil along a squeegee moving direction are smaller than and not smaller than a threshold, and a speed of the squeegee at the first area is made slower than that at the second area. Upon an occurrence of print standby time during a printing operation, the print standby time is measured, and at a resumption of printing with the print standby canceled, the paste placed on the stencil during the standby time is screen-printed, by moving the squeegee at an adjusted print speed lower than the reference print speed based on a relationship between the print standby time and a print time due to the adjusted print speed after the resumption of printing.

摘要: In order to superimpose and store optical fiber ribbons in a corresponding one of spiral grooves provided in the outer circumferential surface of a spacer, an optical fiber ribbon stranding device includes: a device for advancing the spacer straight while rotating the spacer around the center axis of the spacer, the advancing device being constituted by, for example, a tension giving device and a take-up device; a device for feeding a plurality of optical fiber ribbons; a guide die for guiding the optical fiber ribbons into the corresponding one of the spiral grooves; and an alignment keeping guide disposed upstream of the guide die. A rectangular hole is provided to extend through the alignment keeping guide, and the optical fiber ribbons are passed through and superimposed by the hole. The optical fiber ribbons kept in a superimposed state by the alignment keeping guide is introduced and accommodated into the corresponding one of the grooves of the spacer through the guide die.

摘要: A ferroelectric element is provided that can be highly densely integrated having a high Pr and a small Ec by using a ferroelectric thin film of the perovskite structure. A large distortion is imparted to the crystalline lattices of a ferroelectric thin film of the perovskite structure by using in combination elements having dissimilar ionic radii for the A-site that constitutes crystalline lattices, for the B-site and for the C-site that produces polarization, in order to obtain a ferroelectric element of a structure in which the ferroelectric thin film exhibiting a high spontaneous polarization and a small coersive electric field is sandwiched by the electrodes.
