摘要: An X-ray detection device for detecting whether or not foreign matter is mixed in on the basis of the transmission amount of X-rays that have penetrated an examination subject article by applying X-rays, at a predetermined detection position to an examination subject article being conveyed in a pipe (7), wherein a test-piece table (17) capable of passing by the detection position at substantially the same speed as that of the examination subject article is installed in the vicinity of the pipe (7), with a test-piece (21) placed thereon. X-ray detection sensitivity can be detected without mixing the test-piece in the actual examination subject article.

摘要: An air intake includes a spike and a cylindrical cowl. The spike is composed of a plurality of plates which are arranged axial symmetrically around a central axis thereof, and the cowl includes an inner wall parallel to the central axis and is formed so as to enclose a rear portion of the spike via a given space. The adjacent ones of the plates form respective aerodynamic compressive surfaces in spaces formed by the adjacent ones. The distances between the adjacent ones of the plates are variable, and the distance between the forefront of the spike along the central axis and the cowl is variable.

摘要: Pressure and density of a gaseous mixture are increased in the process of introducing the gaseous mixture into the combustor of an air-breathing pulse detonation engine employing atmospheric oxygen as an oxidizer. The exit valve 20 able to be opened and closed is provided at the outlet of the combustor 15, an air cooler 12 is provided in the exit of the intake, and density is increased by exchange of heat of the air received at the intake with a coolant in the air cooler 12. Furthermore, by closing the exit valve 20 provided in the outlet of the combustor during the process of loading the gaseous mixture, transition to the detonation process is possible without expansion of the high-pressure high density air obtained by ram-compression at the intake.

摘要: Coating liquid prepared by dissolving an acid and a silicon alkoxide into alcohol, containing at least one of either a silicon alkoxide or a hydrolyzate thereof (including a partial hydrolyzate) in an amount of 0.010 to 3% by weight (in terms of silica), an acid in terms of 0.0010 to 1.0 normality, and water in terms of 0 to 10% by weight is coated on a substrate to produce an article coated with a silica-based film. By this method for producing a silica-based film coated article, an excellent silica-based film coated article can be obtained without requiring baking and pretreatment. Furthermore, a functional film coated article excellent in durability can be produced in a short period of time and safely by using the abovementioned silica-based film as a primer film and applying thereon an organosilane having a hydrolyzable group and a functional group having a specific function or a hydrolyzate thereof.
