Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device by which a UE configures a per access point name aggregate maximum bit rate (APN-AMBR) in a wireless communication system supporting coordinated selected IP traffic offload (CSIPTO). Particularly, the method comprises the steps of: configuring a plurality of PDN connections associated with different packet data network-gateways (P-GWs) for the same APN; respectively calculating APN-AMBRs of the plurality of PDN connections on the basis of the number of non-guaranteed bit rate (non-GBR) bearers for each of the plurality of PDN connections; and applying the APN-AMBRs to the respective, corresponding PDN connections.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for monitoring User Equipment (UE) reachability in a wireless communication system. More specifically, a method for monitoring UE reachability in a wireless communication system comprises receiving, by a Mobile Management Entity (MME), a message for monitoring the UE reachability including UE reachability related indication from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS); and allocating, by the MME, an Active Time to a UE, wherein the UE reachability related indication is used for setting the Active Time of the UE and wherein the UE reachability indication is used for the UE to stay reachable so that downlink data that a server wants to transmit to the UE can be transmitted to the UE.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for setting up a bearer in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity is disclosed. The method for setting up a bearer by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity, includes requesting, by a first BS, a second BS to set up one or more bearers, receiving, by the first BS, a second bearer list of one or more bearers that can be set by the BS and tunnel end point identifiers (TEIDs) of the bearers included in the second bearer list from the second BS, and transmitting, by the first BS, the second bearer list and the TEIDs of the bearers included in the second bearer list to a mobility management entity (MME).
Abstract:
A paging transmission method and an apparatus for the same in a wireless communication system are provided. Specifically, a method for transmitting paging by a eNodeB (eNB) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method may include receiving a paging message including paging count and a coverage enhancement (CE) level value from a mobility management entity (MME) and in case of receiving the paging message from the MME, transmitting paging information to a user equipment (UE) through a paging control channel (PCCH), wherein the CE level value is a CE level received from a eNB to which the UE is lastly connected.
Abstract:
It is disclosed a method for managing a PDU session in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for supporting the same. Particularly, a method for performing handover of a User Equipment (UE) performed by a source Radio Access Network (RAN) that includes a processor, a memory and a communication module in a wireless communication system may include determining to initiate handover to a target RAN; and transmitting a Handover Required message to a source Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), and the handover is a handover in a case that there is no interface between the RANs or AMF change is required, and the Handover Required message includes a PDU session Identifier (ID) of an activated Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session.
Abstract:
A method for updating local access data network (LADN) information by an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes, based on an update occurring in the LADN information for a LADN service configured for a user equipment (UE), receiving the updated LADN information, the updated LADN information including information on an updated LADN service area and information on an updated LADN data network name (DNN); and transmitting the updated LADN information to the UE, wherein the AMF is determined based on the updated LADN service area.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for transmitting or receiving a signal relating to a PDU session of a UE in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting, by a UE in a RRC inactive state, a RRC message for resuming to a base station; and receiving, by the UE, information indicating release of a resource from the base station in response to the RRC message for resuming, wherein the release of the resource is caused by the deactivation of a PDU session of the UE.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for processing establishment of a protocol data unit (PDU) session by an access and mobility management function (AMF) node. The method may include a step of receiving a PDU session establishment request message from a user equipment (UE) via either a first access or a second access. The PDU session establishment request message may include information indicative of a multi access (MA) PDU session. The method may include a step of selecting a session management function (SMF) node supporting the MA PDU session on the basis of the information indicative of the MA PDU session. The method may include a step of sending the PDU session establishment request message to the SMF node supporting the MA PDU session.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a network-initiated deregistration method by an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving a first message having a removal reason configured to subscription withdrawn from a unified data management (UDM); and transmitting a deregistration request message for requesting the deregistration to a user equipment (UE), in which the deregistration is enabled to be performed for all accesses in which the UE is registered when the removal cause received from the UDM through the first message indicates the subscription withdrawn of the UE.
Abstract:
A disclosure in the present specification provides a method for user equipment initiating a service request procedure. The method includes a step of the UE receiving a paging message. The UE may be registered to both of a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access and a non-3GPP access within the same PLMN. The paging message may include access type information that is used so as to indicate the non-3GPP access. The method may include a step of initiating a UE triggered service request procedure. The UE triggered service request procedure may be initiated by transmitting a service request message including a list of permitted protocol data unit (PDU) sessions. The service request message may include an empty list of the permitted PDU sessions if there is no PDU sessions that can be reactivated in the 3GPP access.
