摘要: A TAB tape is constituted by a base material consisting of, e.g., a polyimide, in which leads composed of a copper foil are formed on the base material, and a power supply unit and a signal unit formed on a substrate, such as a printed circuit board, are connected to electrodes formed on a chip via the copper foil leads. Power supply leads for supplying power to the chip, ground leads for grounding, and signal leads for exchanging signals with the chip are formed by the copper foil on one surface of the base material. A common power supply lead to be connected to the power supply leads and a common ground lead to be connected to the ground leads are formed by the copper foil on the other surface of the base material.

摘要: A wide-screen TV signal transmission apparatus includes transmitting a wide-screen TV signal generator for generating a wide-screen TV signal source; a scanning line converter for down-converting a wide-screen TV signal with an integer conversion ratio to obtain a conventional TV-compatible signal with upper and lower black bars; a vertical augmentation signal generator for generating a vertical augmentation signal to enhance the vertical resolution at the receiving side of the transmission apparatus; and adder for adding; a conventional TV-compatible signal and a vertical augmentation signal to obtain a conventional TV-compatible composed signal; and a transmitter for transmitting a conventional TV-compatible composed signal. The wide-screen TV signal transmission apparatus includes, in its receiving side a video signal detector for detecting a video signal from a transmitted modulated conventional TV-compatible composed signal to obtain a base-band video signal; a signal separater for separating the base-band video signal into luminance and chrominance signals with upper and lower black bars; a scan-convertor for up-converting the luminance and chrominance signals with upper and lower black bars into luminance and chrominance signals without upper and lower black bars with as integer conversion ratio; a vertical augmentation signal processor for recovering the vertical augmentation signal; an adder for adding luminance and chrominance signals without upper and lower black bars and the vertical augmentation signal to obtain a wide-screen TV signal with a high vertical resolution; and a display device for displaying the wide-screen TV signal with a high vertical resolution.

摘要: A method for predicting move compensation of an input image based on a move vector of the input image from this input image to a reference image which has been sampled at a first set time, and the method includes calculating a move vector of the input image based on a move, at a second set time, of a block unit which is a part of the input image and consists of a plurality of pixels, and calculating a move vector of the reference image based on a move, at the first set time, of a block unit which is a part of the reference image and consists of a plurality of pixels. Move compensation of the input image is calculated both from the move vector of the input image and from the move vector of the reference image, to thereby realize a method for predicting move compensation with high precision.

摘要: In a multiplex signal processing apparatus, in the band of a demodulated signal in which a carrier is amplitude-modulated in a vestigial side band by a main signal, another carrier is superposed which is identical in frequency to the first carrier but different in phase by 90.degree. is amplitude-modulated its double side bands by a multiplex signal which is different from the main signal and which is formed into a vestigial side band signal by a nyquist filter. At least either the frequency or polarity of the multiplex signal is inverted on the transmission side by a multiplier, an oscillator and a filter. At least either the frequency or polarity of the multiplex signal is inverted on the reception side by a multiplier, an oscillator and a filter. The reception side has a crosstalk reduction filter for removing crosstalk from the main signal to the multiplex signal.

摘要: An eyeglass device for assisting in viewing a video to be stereoscopically perceived includes an optical filter portion with left and right filters for adjusting light amount to be transmitted to left and right eyes, respectively and a controller for controlling adjustment operation of the light amount by the optical filter portion, wherein the controller switches a control mode of the optical filter portion between a first control mode of controlling the optical filter portion so that the adjustment operation becomes synchronized with display of a frame image of the video and a second control mode of controlling the optical filter so that that the adjustment operation becomes slower than a frame rate of the video to make a viewer perceive the adjustment operation which is asynchronous with the display of the frame image.

摘要: A light output control device for laser light sources for respective RGB colors includes, for each of RGB, three sets, each including: a semiconductor laser for one of the colors; light output detection unit for detecting a light output from the semiconductor laser; light output adjustment unit for updating a light output target value; light output control unit for controlling the semiconductor laser based on the updated light output target value; and division unit for dividing the light output by an output from the light output adjustment unit to obtain a ratio of the rising of the light output, and includes rising determination unit for determining, based on results obtained by the respective division unit, a semiconductor laser with a slowest rising and outputs light output adjustment values for the respective colors. The light output adjustment unit update their respective light output target values based on the light output adjustment values. The light output control unit causes their respective corresponding semiconductor lasers to operate in accordance with a semiconductor laser whose rising time is slowest, based on the updated light output target values to keep RGB color balance upon start-up.
