Abstract: A vehicular automated parking system includes a camera having a field of view rearward of the vehicle. When the vehicle is parked in a parking space, with a forward vehicle parked in front of the vehicle and a rearward vehicle parked behind the vehicle, the vehicular automated parking system determines a forward limit of the parking space responsive to a driver of the vehicle driving the vehicle forward until a front end of the vehicle is close to the forward vehicle. Responsive to the determined forward limit of the parking space, and responsive to processing by an image processor of image data captured by the camera, the vehicular automated parking system controls the vehicle when the vehicle is leaving the parking space in a manner that avoids the forward vehicle parked in front of the vehicle and the rearward vehicle parked behind the vehicle.

Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a plurality of cameras and a processor operable to process image data captured by the cameras to generate images derived from image data captured by at least some of the cameras. A display screen, viewable by a driver of the vehicle, displays the generated images and a three dimensional vehicle representation as would be viewed from a virtual camera viewpoint exterior to and higher than the vehicle itself. A portion of the displayed vehicle representation may be at least partially transparent to enable viewing at the display screen of an object present exterior of the vehicle that would otherwise be partially hidden by non-transparent display of that portion of the vehicle representation. The three dimensional representation may include a vector model without solid surfaces, or may include a shape, body type, body style and/or color corresponding to that of the actual vehicle.

The in-line dithering algorithm determines most significant bits and least significant bits of first color data captured by a first photosensing element of a row or column, and the least significant bits of the first color data are added to second color data captured by a second photosensing element of the row or column to generate second adjusted color data. The in-line dithering algorithm determines most significant bits and least significant bits of the second color data, and the least significant bits of the second color data are added to third color data captured by a third photosensing element of the row or column to generate third adjusted color data.

The control unit includes an image processor operable to process image data. The image processor processes image data frame by frame using an indirect context model and without time wise dependency.

Abstract: A dynamic image stitching system for stitching images captured by multiple cameras of a vision system of a vehicle includes a first camera disposed at a vehicle and having a first field of view exterior the vehicle and a second camera disposed at the vehicle and having a second field of view exterior the vehicle. The first and second fields of view at least partially overlap. A processor is operable to process image data captured by the first and second cameras. The processor processes captured image data to determine characteristics of features or objects present in the overlapping region of the first and second fields of view. The processor is operable to adjust a stitching algorithm responsive to a determination of a difference between a characteristic of a feature as captured by the first camera and the characteristic of the feature as captured by the second camera.

The image processor is operable to adjust a classification of a sub-array responsive at least in part to the discrete cosine transformation and the Markov model.
