    摘要: An electronic flash apparatus comprises a flash lamp and a semiconductor switching element which are connected in series across a main capacitor, and a flash control circuit which measures light reflected from an object to be photographed illuminated by flash light produced by the flash lamp, and produces a control signal to render the semiconductor switching element nonconductive. The flash control circuit includes a photoelectric converting circuit for converting the reflected light into a voltage signal, an integrator for integrating the voltage signal, and a comparator for comparing the output voltage from the integrator with a reference voltage. To obtain a proper flash exposure a compensation signal generating circuit is provided which is responsive to the initiation of flashing of the flash lamp to produce a compensation signal having a desired waveshape. The compensation signal acts on the flash control circuit to control the generation timing of the control signal. The flash light produced by the flash lamp after the switching element has been rendered nonconductive is positively used for a proper exposure.

    摘要: An electric flash discharge device comprises a capacitor charged by a power source, a trigger device including an operating member for producing a trigger signal in response to the actuation of the operating member, and a discharge tube connected to the capacitor and trigger device so as to be triggered in response to the trigger signal to form a discharge circuit for the capacitor. A control signal generator is provided for providing a control signal in response to generation of the trigger signal, and a current control means is connected between the capacitor and the discharge tube for controlling, in response to the control signal, the discharge current flowing through the discharge tube so that the discharge current gradually increases from a low value to a peak value after initiation of the discharge as a function of the control signal.

    摘要: A medical treatment system provided with a safety device which prevents laser beams from being unnecessarily projected on a normal coeliac tissue around an affected coeliac region requiring medical treatment from a laser knife apparatus. When the operator approaches an eyepiece and is at a prescribed distance therefrom, then the safety device removes a mirror from a path of laser beams, enabling laser beams to be brought into a laser knife probe when a foot switch is closed. An infrared ray detector is provided in the eyepiece. When the operator approaches the eyepiece and is at the prescribed distance therefrom, an output signal from the infrared ray detector will be at a prescribed level. As a result, a solenoid controller is actuated to energize a solenoid. The mirror is removed from a path of the laser beams by the energized solenoid. Unless the operator approaches the eyepiece, the mirror remains in the path of laser beams, thereby preventing laser beams from being brought into the laser knife probe.

    摘要: A keyboard is connected to a data recording section through a memory circuit and a read-out section. A film is mounted in a dark box in the vicinity of the data recording section. The film is connected to a frame-number setting dial through film-winding sections and a control circuit. All the recorded data input by the keyboard are stored in the memory circuit. The recorded data corresponding to the frame number specified by the frame-number setting dial is output by the read-out section as well as displayed at a display section. Simultaneously, the film is wound for exposure independently of the frame arrangement order so that the specified frame comes to a predetermined position in response to the frame numbersetting dial.

    摘要: Biological substances such as tissues, cells, vaccines and viruses are cultured by the steps of: introducing a culture solution having the substances suspended therein into a closed culture vessel having a plurality of disc-like implantation plates arranged horizontally with a certain space between successive plates so that a predetermined number of the implantation plates is immersed in the culture solution; culturing the substances on the surface of the implantation plates; removing the substances from the implantation plates; suspending the removed cultured substances in a new culture solution; and successively repeating the steps of culturing, removing the cultured substances and suspending in a new culture solution while each time increasing the amount of newly supplied culture solution to progressively increase the number of implantation plates immersed in the culture solution. This process enables production of a large amount of biological substance from a small amount of seed substance by mass production in a simple operation without any contamination.

    摘要: A connector is connected to an endoscope through a universal cord into which a light guide is inserted. A socket is fixed to a housing to receive the connector. A light is emitted from a lamp and, after being reflected by a reflective mirror, is transmitted into a distal end of the light guide which extends from the socket. The lamp is connected through a dimmer circuit to a power source and a relay switch is provided between the lamp and the dimmer circuit. The relay switch is opened and closed by a solenoid which is connected to a power source through a detector which detects whether the connector is received in the socket.
